Okay. I haven't seen a Transformers movie since forever but hearing the news on the Bumblebee movie makes me optimistic.

They are ditching the Camaro for the traditional VW look:

They are going to have the bad guy be a '71 GTX


I am really interested all of a sudden.

So, they're gonna title it "Bumblebeetle?"

I think that if they did something like that, people would confuse it with the old Disney movies about the Love Bug.

No. Why? He's called Bumblebee. Was never called Bumblebeetle. The title is Bumblebee.

I don't think so. It's set in the 80's. So I doubt it's for kids.

VW they still have the name for being a bunch of liars. If VW has its name in the film
the chances are the film will fail.

@brinkster130 I posit the reason why Bumblebee in the movies is popular with the kids is the manner in which he speaks; in radio soundbytes. They've already said the Bumblebee from the movie wont speak the same way. That's why I think they are setting the movie in the 80s. So adults can get "their" Bumblebee with other 80's nostalgia.
