Hello Buffy Boreders! [see what i did there]

the almighty pointy has brought me back here to tell you about my adventures.

i'm currently in South North America, half a world from my usual Sleepy Devon seaside town.

i'm in Atlanta, Georgia to be specific. [like in that song, The Faldor went down to Georgia...]

i've been out here three weeks. spent the first two in New York City, which i really liked, which suprised me. not so keen on uber large cities normally.

i also nipped out to New Jersey and found the shop from Clerks. which was nice.

i then went down to DC for a few days and looked at the monuments and the International Spy Museum. [which was tiptop!]

and tommorrow i'm heading off to Texas.

got a blog on it all over at http://faldor.livejournal.com

also somone get Elmo to give me a heads up!

Woah. You're lucky to get to go all those places... especially New York. x.x

Washington D.C. is awesome. I had a school trip to there for a week a LONG time ago, maybe sixth grade, it was the most amazing place ever. At least that's what I remember it being. Not that I've really been around to too many places...

You went to Jay & Silent Bobs Secret Stash in Redbank? Or the Quick Stop?, thats one place i'm dying to go, although NYC is strong on my list for a second visit to the usual suspects.

i went to both the secret stash and the quickstop. [which is a tad tricky to get to without a car if you don't know where your going.

the secret stash is just down the road from the place used for ben aflek and jason lees art studio in chasing amy. [where they sit on the step]

i wanted to go to the swings from chasing amy and the lesbian bar [which is on 34th street in new york] but didnt get round to it.

annoyingly im retelling my adventures to a guy here in Atlanta originally from NJ who turns round and says "Oh Redbank! thats where the church from Dogma way!] *slaps forehead*

America...it's great isn't it?

If you're at a loss as to where to go next, might I take this opportunity to recommend the delightful South-Western states of Colorado and New Mexico...near Colorado Springs you will find the Cheyenne Mountain complex, where they keep a Stargate 🙂 and Roswell, New Mexico has a few tales to tell...

BTW I do know the way to Amarillo 😉 and if you get out that way, Cadillac Ranch is well worth a visit.

Austin is pretty cool. I live about an hour and a half away from there. State Capital and home of the Longhorns. And also 6th street...I love 6th street. 😀

Hope you're having a great time, Faldor! America is an amazing (and very large) country, full of really nice people, for the most part. I hope you get to see all the stuff you want to!
