Ok, here comes one of the trials of a sheltered child. My friends and I have to get somewhere, but no one can bring us and it's like a half hour drive so obviously we can't walk or we'll never get there. There's a bus stop a block or two from my house. So, we can use the bus. Unfortunetly, Stephanie, Lauren and I don't know how to use the bus! I think we're gunna get lost in another state and you'll see us running through the streets in terror. It's not my fault I've never used a bus before....I've never had to and I've always had someone to take me places, and if they couldn't I had my feets. So...*cough* anyone know how to use a bus?!

I can relate. I see how all these other people just intuitively seem to know where to get on and off and what not. For me though, it's quite a nervous experience. I'm always paranoid that I'll get off in the wron spot, or miss the bus or whatever else could go wrong... But I always manage to get where I'm going.

What you should do is call your local transit authority and MAKE him tell you what time busses come to that stop, which numbers they are and where they go. Even if he tells you to just get a map or look on the computer, he CAN tell you this. That presents another option though, go to the public website of the city that you're nearest to and look up the transit section and there should be bus routes and what all. Don't forget to find out the fair and what stop numbers and bus numbers you'll be looking for, for both your trip there and home.

Good Luck,

I can see it now...

Brad/Stephanie/Lauren: "Where is this bus going?"

Driver: "TO HELL!!!!!"

::bus driver turns around to reveal he's an insane clown.::

That would be scary! I caught the bus once...and i was meant to be going to town be i ended up god knows were with my freinds..were were crapping ourslefs!

LMAO!!! AWWWWW! Public transportation is a terror!

I wish you the best of luck! Just listen to Kindred...she's real smart like that. 😉

As for me...if I can't walk it I'm in my car. I couldn't survive without my own wheels...I'm too much of a freak to spend that much time in a confined space with that many people...I'd probably freak out and wind up jumping off at 50 mph...
