Troll Hammer

That is going to be SO bad ass! I've been looking for one to no avail... You're so lucky that you have contacts and the skills to make a lot of these on your own or with help.

My machinist friend has let me know that the Hammer with the metal head is going to run somewhere between $750 & $1000
(which if you stop and think about it is less than what the screen-used one sold for and it wasn't even metal!)
The fiber-glass Hammer's will be considerably less.

The Hammer section has been up-dated again by the way!

I think it would also be really cool to have a Nerf foam one... Just so you could safely beat the hell out of someone with Olaf's Hammer. *grin* That would be nifty 🙂

I absolutely love it, and if it wasn't for the shipping issue I would consider buying a fibreglass one. $1000 is just way to much for me to warrant spending on something that will sit on a shelf unfortunately. Especially since shipping would cost about the same amount. Maybe one day if the price is a lot lower!

It looks great though!

OOooooo...video goodness!

My machinist also say's he's going to be able to go as low as $300 for the fiber-glass Hammer.
This is so close to being done you can almost stick a fork in it!

Nice video, but with no more explanation that is what's in the title, and no narration in the video, not many non-Buffy fans are going to have a clue as to what they're seeing.
I'm pretty interested in the fibreglass one, do you think it would make it the UK in one piece?
Can't guarantee anything fund-wise at this point but i'm definitely interested.

*sigh* I need to update my sig too.

"Have Troll Hammer, will use." 😛

I'm going to do my best to work you a deal Kitty!
Final touches will be put on this today.

I'm fairly certain, as I've shipped things to England and Scotland alike, that I can get you your Hammer without any need for fear of it not arriving or being confiscated.

white avenger agrees: Nice video, but with no more explanation that is what's in the title, and no narration in the video, not many non-Buffy fans are going to have a clue as to what they're seeing.

Problem fixed W.A. and thanks for the Kudos (my comments about Michelle Trachtenberg's lack of acting abilities earned me a demerit from a new member) but honestly, why should I be concerned about Non-Buffy Fan's? 🙂

Here's the newest video:

My machinist friend has just let me know that if anyone is interested in a FOAM Troll Hammer (something you could actually hit people with) he is willing and able to do them up upon request.
FYI.

In talking with my machinist friend further about the Hammer he has let me know that he's going to have a blacksmith custom make and install the rivet bolts into the handles for the metal versions.
The wood he's talking about using for the handle could be either a Cocobolo or a Bubinga.

Awesome! can't wait to see this thing finished
Buffyprops, can you ask him how much he would charge for the foam hammer? Would it be possible to see it compared with the fibreglass one at any time in the future, before a buyer made a choice?

I will certainly ask!
I can tell you that the mold for the fiber-glass and foam hammer will be made on the first all metal head hammer so the accuracy will be identical.
Thanks for asking, I was beginning to feel that everyone but myself had lost interest in this!

I totally interested in this prop but funds are just impossible right now. :S I guess a lot of people will be the same post-Xmas.

I'd LOVE a foam one. Again with the lack of funds though, so it may be several months before I can make a purchase. Definitely let me know about the cost and I'll look into saving up. Thanks!

The Troll Hammer is at the foundry as of writing this.
My machinist tells me it will be at least two weeks before we hear anything so, as alway's, I get to practice my patience skills.
This is the one area I can honestly say,I suck at it!

The foam hammers will come after the main, metal hammer and my machinist is un-willing to project a price just yet.
I'll let you all know more when I do!
