Tru Calling box set??

i think Tru calling is one of the best shows on tv!!! But does ne one kno if there will be a season 1 box set?? Because i would love that! so if you kno can you please tell me??!!!
 
I don't see why not.. the show has it's followers... but I think they will wait a little longer.. I mean, I'm sure the people of FOX would like to be 100% sure that the show is a success...
I mean... Buffy's box set came after season 4... 'cause it took a time to Buffy to have the fans and reputation she has nowdays...

So, wait a little longer I'd say.
 
there's been some recent DVD releases of TV series that even had just ONE season... so I guess it doens't REALLY depend on how long the show is on the air (but the longer it is, it helps)
 
Aren't we jumping ahead of ourselves? Season 1 isn't even over yet. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a box set but I think we should wait a little longer. We don't even know if there will be a season 2 yet. :tongue:
 
Yeah I agree with others who say that it doesn't really matter if the show has been going for more than one season. Hell, even if it isn't picked up for a second season we still have a good shot at seeing a box set (Firefly didn't even make it a whole season and it got a DVD release).
 
I'll definitely buy a season 1 set if and when it's released. :redwink:
 
I'm gonna buy it when it's out, I hope they have extra's like bloopers and outtakes, and interviews.

My thoughts exactly. It can take a while for tv shows to come out on DVD, I mean Dawsons Creek has just come out with Season 2. The best shows for dvds have been the UK Buffy and Angel ones.

A good way to register your interest is at http://www.tvshowsondvd.com they send their ratings to the production companies to show how much votes they have etc.
 
I am making my own "box set DVD." Just hoping they air some re-runs so I can get the one's I missed (ep. 3-6)
 
More shows are starting to be released on DVD immediately after the season ends. The current seasons of Smallville and Alias will be released on DVD before the new seasons start in the Fall. It is a good way to allow new viewers to catch up.

I think this would be a good idea for Tru Calling as well. The problem is that Fox isn't telling anyone if there will be a second season or not.
 
i hope they put it on dvd, tru calling is the kind of show you can watch over and over again and not get sick of it
