I think part of the reason they didn't air the last episode is to help dvd sales by labeling it as an unaired episode on the set. This is for the United States, we're getting season 2 as a separate release from season 1. I know some other countries got it as a Complete set. Hopefully since we had to wait there will be lots of season 2 extra's, because I heard that one of the actors said they were working on the extra's for set 2.
Season 2 will be released on August 2nd with a price of 29.99. It's probably going to be on sale the first week for less than that but I'm not sure. That seems really expensive for just 6 episodes but I'm a big fan of the show so I'll buy it anyway.
