Looks like they'll be airing at least 3 of the unaired episodes of Tru Calling.

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- One of our most frequently asked questions got answered today as FOX has finally scheduled the second season premiere of "Tru Calling."

The sophomore drama, which FOX confirmed in January won't be picked up for a third season, will debut with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, March 31 beginning at 8:00/7:00c. Said broadcast will replace the previously announced repeats of "The O.C." on the night ("The Family Ties" and "The Power of Love").

The following week, "Tru" will take over the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c slot currently occupied by "Point Pleasant." That series will head to hiatus while "The O.C." will remain at 8:00/7:00c.

Thanks SO much for the news!
Some more news on this:

Fox will bring back the remaining six new episodes of its canceled supernatural series Tru Calling with a two-hour episode on March 31, after which it will air in the 9 p.m. ET/PT Thursday timeslot of the soon-to-be pulled Point Pleasant, the Zap2it Web site reported. Tru Calling was pre-empted earlier this year to make way for North Shore and then Point Pleasant, both of which fared poorly enough in the ratings to warrant being pulled from Fox's schedule. It's unclear whether Point Pleasant will return after that.

The remaining new episodes of Tru Calling will feature star Eliza Dushku as Tru Davies, who can relive a 24-hour period when called upon to save a recently deceased person.

I know, but its better than nothing, especially the way in which the finale ended!

Oh ya its way better than nothing. Drove me crazy when they left it on that finale, then with the cancellation I was so disappointed. I'm just really hoping we don't get left hanging again.

you know I will be laughing my butt off if Tru Calling gets big ratings from last season just to show Fox how stupid they are.

It seems that UK fans will get a bonus if they buy the Tru DVD

From BBC Cult -

Tru Calling DVD
Absolutely complete collection of Tru Calling coming soon.

The UK Tru Calling DVD, out on 30 May, will not only feature all of the episodes of season one, but also the six episodes of season two that were never broadcast.

The release is therefore something of a coup for UK fans of the series, as the US release only featured season one (although rumours persist that the episodes will air over there once Point Pleasant has been cancelled).

Tru Calling: The Complete Season from Twentieth Century Fox will also feature a number of extras, but details are not yet available.

Pinch me I must be dreaming!

I just read the great news today that TRU CALLING is COMING BACK! YAHOO!

YAY... you know on ebay you can actually buy series one and the six episodes of series 2 on DVD, i was going to buy them but they where expensive so i changed my mind lol i cant wait... oh wait are they airing in the UK aswell cos if they aren't im just going to be the most unhappiest person ever!!!!

This is great!

I don't even care if it's only six episodes. All of the fans will begin watching it, and hopefully the ratings will be much better than Point Pleasant, and then Fox will ask for the remaining season.

{makes a wish.....}

This is great!. Thank you for posting the information nerd4hire and Faith 😀.

Well it's about FREAKING time Fox!!! Glad it's finally airing. And I freaking KNEW this was going to happen..Point Pleasant would get pulled by Fox and THEN Tru would get aired. I DESPISE Fox and that's why I wouldn't watch Point Pleasant..even if it's good.

Hate to say this and burst everyone's bubble...but the episodes are probably being aired so FOX can take a loss and have a tax write-off...

I wonder what Fox would do if the episodes scored high ratings? I doubt the cast is still contractually obligated to the show, and I doubt they would want to go back to it.

I don't know - either try to get everyone (or mostly everyone) back under contract, or try and make a show that targets a similar audience.

Frankly, up against the Apprentice and CSI, they don't really need to worry about what they'll do with high ratings lol

You're right.

Thursday night has too much going on for any up-and-coming show to have any real chance. Even The OC is down in ratings, and look what happened to life as we know it.

Personally I think they should have went with Monday at 8 P.M. for Tru Calling.

Monday at 8 would be a good timeslot. I personally watch Fear Factor, but I know it's not extremely popular.

9 p.m. would mean going against Las Vegas which would be pretty bad considering how popular the show has become.

I just found out about these episodes by looking through my TV's guide for the next few days. When I saw 'Tru Calling' instead of 'The OC' for that slot, I almost had a heart attack! I'm soo happy! I raced to my computer to see what was going on.
