It sucks!!!

That it got canceled that is. 😉

Not the best show in the world but I like it (well enough to buy it). It took a few episodes to really get into it but after that I was hooked. And with the love for Eliza it gets even easier to like the show. Which of course can make my judgement a little cloudly.

Yeah it was hard at first to like but after the first 3 eps i loved it
Im watching it right now, its a great show. This is my 2nd run though it and its a very original series. IF you want an answer of why it got cancelled, well like so many before it (Journeyman, Tru, Firefly) it doesnt need a reason. It needs FOX to not realize that some shows take time to build up followings and that advertising and playing shows in order mean something.

Some people may jump on and say that it all comes down to ratings, but if you look at the figures of many of the successful shows and their corresponding figures in their first year...something becomes very clear.... FOX only cares about instant hits.

Oh tht just sucks I might get confused watching the next 2 eps of bones this thrusday cause i heard they were rearanged or something
I liked the show well enough - it was an interesting premise and I really liked the characters of Davis and Harrison.

However - I absolutely hated Jack. I mean, I know we're supposed to dislike the character - he was the main antagonist after all, but ugh, everything about that character was annoying. If there were more episodes I don't know how much longer I could have put up with him!

Yup i dont get why Harrison isnt on the cover i mean he was awesome.
When does he even come into the show cause so far I just finished 1x12 and he isn't on?
BTW you should put your banner in the center

around 15. I think when you read some of the commentarys on where they were eventually going with Jacks character, youll appreciate him a bit more. When he shows up, think of him less as the antagonist and more of the opposite side of the same coin.

Are they commentaries on the DVDs or comments elsewhere? I don't think I could like his character - it wasn't only what they were doing with him, but the way the actor portrayed him.

I like it being off to the right XD

Yeah, I don't really view Jason Priestly as a good actor. Not after watching the series last week. He got so incredibly annoying during those episodes, I almost wanted to turn it off.

I do, however, think that the show was really good. And it was just about to dive deep into mythology when it got canned. So, it never did get the foothold it needed to be great. I'm sure had it gone for 10 more episodes, we would have seen a LOT of good come out of it.

why was it cancelled
Probably because, as good a job as Eliza and the rest of the cast and staff did, the premise of the show was just not that original. It was a combination of "Early Edition," in which the hero receives tomorrow's edition of the morning paper, then scurrys around for the rest of the hour trying to avert all of the deaths and disasters written about, and "Quantum Leap," in which the hero is projected into various times in the past, where he scurrys around trying to avert various deaths and disasters. TC didn't grab the viewers in a large enough number initially, and the producers decided to pull out rather than take a chance on big losses.
