Five by Five
Full title: Tru fight to save people live and to stop Jack from taken people lifes before its time for them to die
Disclaimer: I do not own Tru calling.
* Time note the story takes place where the second season left off and it is now February 2005. Tru and Jensen have been dating since December. Tru has also told Jensen about how she relives days, because the dead people ask her to help them. She also tells him about him get shoot and dying and someone asks for help that day which cause the day to start over and she was able to save the person that asks for help and his life. Jensen was fine with what Tru told him and the two of them are living together.
Chapter one: Ache and feverish
Davis walks through the door lead into the Autopsy room at the morgue and sees that only one body come in during the night. He sees that Tru has already went through the personal items and logged them in and has took the note down on how the body looks, so all he has to do is the autopsy. Davis walks into the break room and sees Tru asleep on the couch. He walks over and set down the coffee he brought in for him and Tru on the coffee table. Then Davis gently shakes Tru on the shoulder. Tru open her eyes up then looks at her supervise, she then sets up. Davis hands her the coffee he brought her, Tru takes the coffee cup from Davis and she takes a sip of the coffee. Tru leans up against the back of the couch and closes her eyes again.
Davis: Everything all right Tru, because you normally do not fall asleep on the break room couch?
Tru: Yeah, I am just tired and ache is all, nothing some sleep won't fix.
Davis: Then go home and get some sleep.
Tru: I can't I have an anatomy 162 lab this morning and the professor tested the group on how well we can work together and how well we know all the part of the body.
Davis: Ok, but after the lab, I want you to go home and get some sleep because you are looking flush.
Tru: I am planing on going home, as soon as my group finishing the lab.
Tru stands up and goes and grabs her book bag off the desk and walks out of the break room and to the elevator. She is relived when the elevator door open right away, she gets into the elevator and push the button for the main floor. When the door of the elevator opens up Tru get off the elevator and walk out to Jensen's car. When Tru opens the passengers' door of the car Jensen looks at his girlfriend and notice that she looks wear out. Tru gets into Jensen's car and she throws her book bag onto the backseat.
Jensen: Your sister Meredith's return your car this morning.
Tru: Good, seeing that you have to work tonight and I you have to be at work before me.
Jensen: Tru maybe you should take tonight off and get some rest.
Tru: I wish that I could but it a Wednesday and that the must popular night for people asks for my help.
Jensen: I forget, but at lest take my car and go home after lab.
Tru: How will you get to work?
Jensen: Avery is work today she can give me a ride.
Tru: Ok
Jensen puts the car into drive and hard towards the campus. On the ride to the campus Tru closes her eyes and takes a cat nap. When Jensen has parked his car and turn off the car, he looks over at Tru and sees she is asleep. Jensen leans over and shakes Tru left shoulder. Tru opens her eyes and sees that they are at school.
Tru: I will meet you in the lab room Jensen I need to use the bathroom.
Jensen: Do you want me to take your book bag to class?
Tru: Yeah
They get out of the car and Jensen grabs both their book bags. Tru and Jensen walk into science building together, then he heads to the lab room and Tru's walk to the ladies' restroom. When Tru gets into the restroom she stops in front of the sink and mirror and sees that she does look flush. She turns the water on and splashes some cool water on her face. After a splash the water on her face she then dries it off with a paper towel and then head to the lab room. When Tru walks into the lab Jensen, Avery and Tyler look at her and then down at the body they will be working on.
Avery: Tru meet Mrs. Kaylee Time's
Tyler: Our assignment is that the four of us have to give her an autopsy and find her cause of death!
Tru: Great
Jensen: We should get to work.
Tyler, Avery and Jensen walk over to the body and get to work right away, but Tru walks over to one of the desk and take off her long sleeve shirt that she put on before leave work and she set it on the desk. She then walks over and joins Jensen, Avery and Tyler. Jensen walks up next to his girlfriend pull a stool and push the stool up behind her and kiss Tru's forehead. After he kisses her forehead Tru set down and picks up a scalpel and starts to cut open Kaylee Time's chest.
Tru: Thanks Jensen
Jensen: Your welcome and your forehead felt warm to my lips, I think you are running a fever Tru!
Tru: I do feel feverish and Ache!
Tyler: It sounds like you are sick Tru!
Tru: I never get sick!
Avery: You have been push yourself really hard maybe getting sick is your body way of saying slow down Tru Davies!
professor : Less talking about all of your personal lives and more talk about the reason way your person dead!
Jensen: Professor, can Tru be excused from today class, she is not feeling good?
professor: No, now get back to work.
A half hour into class Tru starts to shiver, so Jensen goes and get her grey long sleeve shirt and bring it over to her. Tru takes the shirt from him and puts it on and then they get back to work. Twenty minutes later the professor walks over to Tru group and take the group forum from Tyler and looks it over.
Professor: You have the right cause of death, she did dead form lung cancer and yes she was four weeks pregnant at the time of her death. The four of you also work together great and I'm give the group extra points for Tru pushes herself through class and continue to help the group even through she is not feeling good.
Tru: Is it alright If I take off a few minute early since our lab done?
Professor: Yes you can leave now Tru.
Tru: Thanks
Jensen hands Tru his car keys and she stands up and walks over to the desk that her book bag is setting on. She grabs her book bag and then walks out of the lab room. She then walks out to where Jensen's parked his car and gets into the drive seat. When she pulls Jensen's car into the drive of they house, she sees Harrison's car is parked on the side of the road. She puts the car into park and then she turns the car off. She grabs her book bag off of the passenger seat and then gets out of the car. Tru slower walks up to the front porch and up to the door. She unlocks the door then heads insides the house, she looks to her right and into the living room to see her brother set on the couch. Harrison stands up from the couch and walks over to Tru as she walks towards the staircase that on the wall across from you as you walk into the living room. Harrison takes his sister book bag from her then gives Tru a hug.
Harrison: Were you even going to say hi to me before you head upstairs Tru?
Tru: Sorry, I talk to you in a few minutes I really need to use the bathroom.
Harrison: OK, Sis I will go into the kitchen and make the two of us some apple cinnamon tea.
Tru: That sounds great.
Tru walks upstairs and walks into the first door on the left-hand side which is Jensen and her bedroom. She sets Jensen's car keys on the night stand. She walks to the end of the bed and past the window and then goes through the door lead into the connected bathroom. Tru walks over to the sink which is across from the door and the opens up the medicine cabinet and grabs the ear thermometer off the top shelf. She then puts the ear thermometer into her right ear and wait for it to beep. Thirty seconds later the thermometer beeps and she takes it out of her ear. She looks at the thermometer and sees that she has a fever of 101.9 F. She put the thermometer away and then head back downstairs. She had just set down on the couch when Harrison walks into the living room with their tea, in two large coffee mugs. Harrison walks over to his sister and hand her tea. Tru takes the hot tea from him and hand the mug in her hands. Harrison sets down on the coffee table and looks at his sister and he notices that she looks flush. Tru then set her mug down on the coffee table next to her brother.
Harrison: Sis you not look so hot are you feeling alright?
Tru: No, I am all ache and I also have a fever of 101.0 F. Plus my stomach is a little upset.
Harrison: Do you also have a headache, because you keep rubbing your forehead?
Tru: Yeah, do you mind taken off I am going to go lay down?
Harrison: Sure, I hope you feel better soon.
Tru: Yeah me too.
Harrison sees himself out and Tru walks upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. She lays down on the bed and falls to sleep right away.
Chapter Two: No rest for Tru!
Tru wakes up to the sound of her alarm clock buzzes in her ear, she rolls over and hits the off button. She slower set up in her bed and looks at the phone on the nightstand. She knows that she should call in sick to work, but that is not a choice since it is a Wednesday night. She gets out of bed and walks over to the closet. She reaches the closet door, which is next to the bathroom door and open it up. She grabs a pair of jeans and a pink tank top to wear that night and then she grabs a red shirt and another pair of jeans to wear for her study group and classes in the morning. She changes really fast then goes into the bathroom, she brushes her tooth and then combs her hair. Tru then looks in the mirror and she sees that she looks more flush, then before she went to bed that afternoon. She reaches up and opens up the medicine cabinet and takes the ear thermometer off the top shelf. She puts the thermometer into her right ear and set down on the edge of the bathtub to wait for the thermometer to beep. When the thermometer beeps she takes the thermometer out of her ear to see that her fever has went up and it is now 103.5 F thinking to herself. Great it no wonders that I feel ache all over and feverish, it because I am really sick. Tru grabs her the text books and notebooks that she needs for tomorrow, that are not in her book bag and she also grabs her cellphone off of the nightstand. She then walks out of Jensen and her bedroom and heads downstairs. She grabs her purse and book bag. She unzips the book and puts the text book and notebooks into the bag, she then walks out of the house and open up the garage door. She gets into her car and then back out of the driver way and starts to head to work, but stops to grabs a large coffee and gets a strawberry jelly fill doughnut from Tim Horton on the way. When she walks into the morgue, she sees that Davis is on a pick up and that he also left her a note saying that he is working with her tonight. She set down on the break room couch and eats her doughnut. A half hour later she has just started to fall asleep when Davis walks into the break room and over to the couch.
Davis: Come on Tru we have a body to process and then I need to do the Autopsy if the body does not ask you for your help.
Tru: I hope the body does not ask me for help.
Davis: That does not sound like you Tru!
Tru: Lets just get this over with.
Tru slower stands up holding her stomach and is fighting back the feeling that she is going to be sick to her stomach. The two of them walk towards the break room door that leads into the autopsy room and that when Davis notices that Tru is holding her stomach and looks worse then she did that morning. They walk over to the female body laying on the table and Davis notice Tru is turning green.
Davis: Tru's are you all right?
Tru: Yeah, I will go through her purse you can take the body.
Davis: That fine.
Tru walks over to the victims items and starts going through the purse. She finds the female wallet and opens it up.
Davis: I see that she has a wallet is there a drive license in the wallet Tru?
Tru: Yeah just find it her name is Becky Smith and she turned nineteen yesterday.
Davis: I cannot find any sing of a fight and she was not shot. They is also no head wound or sing of fighting back so way did she not wake up when her best friend was banging on they dorm room door, because she was lock out. Also, way was Beck full dress and way was her purse over her shoulder?
Tru: There is a note here Davis from her mom and it says Becky don't stop fighting the cystic fibrosis, you can handle fighting the disease and going to school. Please don't let a minor head cold, make you give up your dreams of being a special education teacher.
Davis: Maybe the head cold was worse then she let her mom know and her lungs give out?
Tru: Yeah maybe!
Tru goes back to looks through the items of clothing Beck had on her when she dead. She is now check the pockets of Becky jeans and finds uses tissues in the left pocket and two unused tissues in the right pocket.
Tru: Maybe, you find out what happened when you do the autopsy, Because the note and drive license are the only useful items beside for the use tissues that confirm she did have a head cold.
Davis: Anything else Tru?
Tru: Gag, no
Davis: Are you all right?
Tru: Yeah
Davis: Ok, I take it from here you go listen for the phones and work any college homework you have and also listen for bodies that are calling you for help!
Tru: Ok, But I have to take a restroom break first.
Davis: That is fine Tru!
Tru walks out the door that leads into the hallway and walks down the hallway to the lady's restroom. She opens the door and heads inside the restroom and into the first stalls close the door behind her. Tru set down on the restroom floor and then lean up against the wall close her eyes at the sometime. She is trying her hardest to fight back the feeling that she is going to be sick to her stomach, since she walked into the autopsy room a half hour ago, but can no longer fight the feeling that she is going to throw up and she lifts the toilet set up. She then leans over the toilet and starts throwing up. After what felt like an hour, she stopped throwing up and looks at her watch to see it has only been three minutes. She flush the toilet and puts the toilet seat lid back down. She then stands up and opens the stall door. She walks out of the restroom stall and over to the sink holding her stomach with both hands. Tru rinses her mouth out with water and then she splashes water onto her face, so she can cool herself down. She leaves the restrooms and heads to the break room, she grabs her book bag and takes a set in the desk chair. Tru unzips her book bag and takes out her Patient-Doctor Year one textbook and notebook and starts to outline chapter four. Davis walks into the break room two hours lately to see Tru asleep with her head laying on her textbook, which is on top of the desk. The phone rings and Davis's answers before it can wake up Tru. When he gets off the phone, he writes Tru a quickly note to let her know he went on a pick up just incased she wakes up while he is gone. Davis has only been gone for ten minutes when Tru cellphone starts ringing and wakes her up. She takes her cellphone off her hip and answer the cellphone.
Harrison: What up Sis?
Tru: Harrison way are you calling me at this time of night?
Harrison: Because you work night and are up all night. I also want to see if you feeling any better then at eleven thirty this morning?
Tru: No, I feel worse and I can keep anything down!
Harrison: Do you go into work or stay at home?
Tru: I'm at work, It Wednesday and you know I can't take Wednesdays off!
Harrison: You can take Monday and Thursday off either because these are high relive days too, Tru, But you are sick and should be at home in bed. I am sure that Davis would want you to take care of your self and go home since you are sick and that he would cover for you tonight.
Tru: Yeah, I know Davis would cover for me if he was not already on a pick up!
Harrison: Tru I'm worry about you!
Tru: I will be gag fine!
Harrison: Tru you have been push yourselves too far and need to slow down and I am also worry about you because you never get sick!
Tru: If I'm not better tomorrow I will call in sick I promise you.
Harrison: Ok, I have to go, I will check in with you tomorrow.
Tru: Sure.
Tru flips her cellphone closes and set it on the desk. She then stands up really fast and runs to the restroom. Tru comes out of the restroom ten minutes later to find Davis has still not getting back from the pick up that he has gone on. She walks into the process room and over to the cabinets. She opens up the cabinet next to the break room door and grabs one of the home pregnancy tests off of the shelf and then walk back to the restroom to take the test. Tru is still in the restroom five minutes late when Davis pushes the dead body into the process room. He logs the body in and then check the break room. He sees Tru textbook, notebook, cellphone and the desk but she is not there. Davis walks out of the process room and down the hallway to the lady's restroom and knocks on the main door.
Davis: Tru are you all right?
Tru: Yeah Davis I will be out in a second!
Davis: Ok, meet me in the process room we have a male body to process!
Tru: Ok
Davis walks back to the process room and at the sometime Tru stares down at the positive pregnancy test in her hands. She walks out of the restroom still holding the test and heads to the process room. Davis who is face the door sees the pregnancy test in Tru right hand as she walks through the door.
Davis: Tru what does the pregnancy test say and why do you look so worried?
Tru: It is positive and I am also running a fever along with being ache all over.
Davis: Go home and go to bed Tru.
Tru: I do not feel like be alone right now can I just sleep on the break room couch till my shift is over?
Davis: Sure
Tru heads into the break room and lays down on the couch. She closes her eyes and falls right to sleep.
Chapter Three: A very long day!
Tru's sleeps through the rest of her shift and does not wake up till she hears Harrison and Davis talk the next morning and the sunshine is coming through the window and hit her right in the eyes. She set up and starts rubbing her eyes. Harrison walks over to her and feels his sister forehead with his right hand. Then he pulls his sister up from the couch and Davis hand Tru her things. Tru looks at her Brother then at Davis with a look that says what is going on?
Harrison: Tru's don't act like you have no idea what going on you are sick and you need to go home.
Tru: Oh that all Harrison?
Harrison: Yeah, now I have to go or I will be late for work.
Tru: Ok, tell dad I say hi.
Harrison: I will Tru.
Harrison walks out of the break room and Tru throws her jacket and book bag onto the break room couch and puts the gym bag that is carrying her changes of clothing on her shoulder. She then looks up at Davis with a look that say if you say anything to my brother about me being pregnant I will hit you. Davis knows by the look that his co-work thinks he told her brother she is pregnant.
Davis: I did not tell your brother that you are pregnant Tru, I just tell him you was sick.
Tru: Good I want to let Jensen know he is going to coughs, be a father first then Jensen and I will let everyone know that I am pregnant.
Davis: Go home and go to sleep and if you are not able to come into work tonight just call and let me know.
Tru: Coughs, ok Davis I am going to change then I head out.
Davis: If you going home way are you changing?
Tru: Because I have to swing by the university to drop my homework off to my professors and to let them, Ah-choo, know I am sick and can't make class. Then I going to tell Jensen that I am pregnant along with still being sick and can't stay for the study group.
Davis: Ok
Tru walks out of the break room and through the process room. When she reaches the door of the process room and she pushes the door open and walks into the hallway. She slow walks down the hallway toward the ladies' restroom only to see her older sister Meredith walk towards her. She thinks to herself great what does Meredith want for me and why I'm I the first one she want to see after get out of rehab. Meredith reach Tru and the two of them look at eachother. Meredith then gives her little sister a big bear hug. When Meredith lets go of her sister, she gives Tru a worry look and then feel Tru's forehead with her left hand. As Meredith is feeling, her forehead Tru puts her left hand on her stomach. Meredith then notices that Tru is holding her stomach and give her sisters' very worry work.
Meredith: Tru you are running a fever and look awful why are you still at work.
Tru: I leaving after I change my clothes.
Meredith: Go home and then change into a pair of PJ Tru.
Tru: I have to drop my homework off with my professors and let them know I am sick and coughs can't make class. Then I have to let Jensen, Avery, and Tyler that I am sick and can't stay for study group.
Meredith: Tru just email you homework to your professors and call Jensen's about being sick and not being able to make the study group.
Tru: Sniff I would but there is something I need to tell Jensen in person.
Meredith: I am sure whatever it is can wait Tru, you are sick and I can't remember the last time you were sick.
Tru: What I have to tell Jensen can't wait Ah-choo. Plus the last time I was sick was two weeks after mom dead Meredith and I haven't been sick since.
Meredith: Tru's are you pregnant?
Tru: Yeah
Meredith: Congratulation sis, go change and then leave to head to the university and take care of drop your homework off and telling Jensen.
Tru: Thanks and Meredith don't say anything to Harrison or dad and his family I want to tell them.
Meredith: I won't now go change I will call you in a few days and when you feel better the two can go out to dinner.
Tru: Ok, what did you want Meredith?
Meredith: Just to say hi and let you know I am out of rehab. I also want to see you.
Tru: I see you around then.
The two of them walk down the hall together, when they reach the restroom Tru stops and walks inside the restroom and Meredith head out of the build. Tru changes into the red shirt and jeans she brought with her really fast then heads to the break room to her jacket and book bag. Meanwhile at the university Jensen is in the anatomy lab getting everything ready for the study group. He already has the surgery instrument out and is now pulling out the Mrs. Dew body, which is the body his group been assigned to work on. Jensen has just start to flip through his note to decide where the group should start study at when Tru walks into the lab. He walks over to Tru and gives her a worry look, because he notices she is holding her stomach and look worst then when he saw her last night before going to work. He takes his girlfriend right hand and leads her over to a stool.
Tru: You the one that might want to take a set Jensen.
Jensen: You the one that sick sweetie.
Tru: Just set down because the news I about to tell you might shock you.
Jensen: Ok Tru.
Jensen set down on a stool and Tru pulls a stool across from him and then take a set herself. She then takes a hold of Jensen right hand and sets it on her stomach. Jensen Just looks a Tru with a look that say what are you trying to tell me Tru. Tru takes a deep breath then looks at him and smiles.
Tru: I am pregnant Jensen!
Jensen: Can you say that again Tru?
Tru: I am pregnant!
Jensen: Thar what I thought you say Tru, do you still have a fever?
Tru: Yeah, also my throat is sore, I have stuffed up nose and I can't keep anything down,
Jensen: Sound like you have the stomach flu, how far long are you in the pregnancy Tru?
Tru: Let see it is Thursday, February 24 which means I am three and half weeks along.
Jensen: Are you up to study for the study group and classes Tru or do you want to go home?
Tru: I am going to go home, I already drop my homework off to the professors.
Jensen: Ok, I see you when get home after my last class.
Tru: Ok, will you walk be out to my car.
Jensen: Yeah
Tru and Jensen stand up and he takes Tru hands and they walk to the doors. We they are half to the lab door Avery and Tyler walks into the lab. Tyler and Avery toss their bags onto the desk by the door. Then start to walks over to their groups body, Tyler tap Avery on the shoulder then point to Tru and Jensen.
Avery: Where are two of you going.
Jensen: I am walk Tru out to her car, she is sick and is not able to stay for the study group or classes.
Tyler: That fine we will wait to start to you get back to start Jensen and I hope you feel better siin Tru.
Avery: I am working at the health center all work Tru, if you don't feel better in a few days stop by to have a doctor look you over and I hope you feel better soon.
Tru: Thanks bye.
Jensen and Tru walk out of the lab and down the hallway to the doors lead to the parking lot that Tru is park in. As they walk out of building toward Tru's car, she lays her head on Jensen right shoulder. He wraps his right arm around Tru's wrist and Jensen can't feel that she is burring up by the heat coming off her body. They reach Tru's purple Ford Mustang and she takes her keys out of her purse and unlocks the drive side door. Jensen pulls Tru towards him and kisses her forehead.
Jensen: When you get home I want you to take you temperature and push the fluids!
Tru: Ok, I will take my temperature, but I can't promise you about the fluids since I have not been able to keep anything down since midnight.
Jensen: At lest try, you have to think about someone else healthy now too, since you are pregnant.
Tru: I will try.
Jensen: Good, I see you around one o'clock when I get home from school.
Tru: See you then.
Tru gets into her car and Jensen close the door for her and Jensen then steps up at the sidewalk. Tru looks both ways and then back out of the parking spot. Jensen's wave good bye and watching Tru pull out of the packing lot in the directions of they house. He then heads inside the building and to the lab. As Tru is driving home her cellphone starts to ring, she grabs it out of her purse that setting on the passenger seat and looks to see who is calling. Tru looks at the phone number on the front of her phone and see it the school that her eight year old half sister Claire goes to. Tru flips the phone open and takes the call.
Tru: Tru Davies speaking, how may I help you?
Nurse Sunshine: I am the school nurse at Chest Wood elementary school where you half sister Claire goes.
Tru: Yeah, I know that but way did you call me?
Nurse Sunshine: Because she is sick and she needs to be sent home for school, because she has a fever of 103.1 and can't keep anything down. I have tried all the other phone number first and can't reach anyone that can pick her up. Harrison on a job, Mrs. Davies out of town visiting her sick mother and your father in meeting all day. He ask that you pick Claire up and take her to your house he will pick her up after his last meet of the day.
Tru: Sure, I will be there in fifteen minutes.
Nurse Sunshine: Thanks, see you then.
Tru flip her cellphone closed and tosses the cellphone onto the passenger seat and makes a left hand turn when she reaches the intersections. As she is driving down the street she grew up, she sees the house she lived in before her mom died. Tru pulls her car up in front of the house and put the purple mustang into parks. Tru looks at the house for a minute and remembers her mom push the tire swing that was in the front yard so she, Harrison and Meredith could swing in the swing at the sometime. She then notices the tire swing is still hanging from the same tree in the front yard. She looks up at the two story house and see that it is still paint yellow. She pulls her self together and pulls her car back onto the road and drives to Chest Wood elementary school to pick up Claire. Ten minutes late she pulls her mustang into a parking spot in front of the school and turns it off. Tru gets out off her car and grabs her purse. She throws her keys in her purse and sees that the school has not change at all in the twelve years since she has gone there. She puts her hands in her jean pockets and heads inside the school. As she walks down the hallway to the nurse station she has to pass the gym and is surprise to see that the gym teacher is the someone that she had when she went to the school. Tru sees her half brother Oliver in gym class. Oliver comes runs over to the gym door and Tru sees he looks just like Harrison. Oliver comes up to Tru and gives his older half sister a hug. At the sometime the gym teacher Mr. Sim walks over to them.
Mr. Sim: Nice to see you Tru Davies, your little brother is a fast running just like you Tru .
Oliver: I beat you fast time running in elementary school yesterday.
Tru: That great
Oliver: You come to pick up Claire and take her home right?
Tru: Yeah, I need to go get your sister Oliver and take her to my house.
Oliver: Ok, I see you lately.
Tru starts walking down the hallway again and gets to the nurse station a minute later. She opens up the door lead into the nurse station and sees her blonde hair and hazel eyes half-sister, laying on the recovered couch that is by the door. Tru walks over to the nurse desk and shows the nurse her diver license and then sign Claire out. She then walks over to the couches and walks up her half sister. Claire rolls over and opens up her eyes and sees Tru kneel next to her. Claire set up looking at her older sister and starts to cry. Tru gives her a big hug and she rubs her back. Claire lays her head on Tru left shoulder and close her eyes.
Claire: Tru where is daddy?
Tru: He could not get off work to come get you, he will pick you up from my house on his way home from work.
Claire: Ok, you look tired Tru did you have a long night at work?
Tru: No long then anyother night.
Tru grabs her sister book bag and takes her right hand. Tru and Claire walk out of the nurse stations and down the hallway to main doors of the school then they walk out to Tru's car. Tru unlocks the car door and Claire gets into the back seat. Tru gets into the driver seat and turn around to back sure her sister has put her seat belt on. Tru then starts her car and drives to her and Jensen house, by the time they reach the house Claire falling to sleep in the back seat of the car. Tru put the car into park and turn it off. She grabs her purse and then opens up the back door and lifts her sister off the seat and carry Claire to the front door. She opens the door then carry Claire inside and into the living room. She lays Claire on the couch then heads outside to get her book bag, Claire book bag and her cellphone out of her car. When Tru walks back into the house, she sees Claire is not laying on the couch, so she walks into the living room and drops the book bag behind the couch. Tru then walks past out of the living room and to the next room on the right which is the downstairs bathroom and she hears Claire throwing up. Tru walks over to the crack bathroom door and knock on it. Claire pushes the door open and Tru walks into the bathroom and pulls her sisters' hair out of her face. Claire looks up at Tru when she stops getting sick and at the sometime set down on the floor.
Claire: Tru I want my Mom and dad can you call them and get one of them to pick me up? And thanks for keep my hair out of my face.
Tru: It not be deal, I know how hard it is to keep long hair out of your face when you are throwing up. I try to reaches our dad, but I can't get hold of your mom since she is not in town.
Claire: Ok, if you can get dad to pick me up that good enough. Can I watch some tv Tru?
Tru: Yeah, go into the living the tv remote is on the coffee table. I will go upstairs and call our dad.
Claire: OK
The young girl and Tru walk out of the bathroom and down the hallway. They both turn into the living room, which is on the right-hand side as you come into the house through the front door. Claire slower walks over to the couch holding her stomach and she set down on the couch. Tru stops and she look at her sister walks over to her.
Tru: Claire, do you want me to get you gold trash can from the downstairs bathroom, so if you need to throw up you don't have to run back into the bathroom?
Claire: Yeah
Tru: Ok
Tru walks out of the living room and walks to the downstairs bathroom. When she gets into the bathroom, she leans up against the bathroom sink and she closes her eyes. She then grabs the trash can walks back to the living room. Tru walks into her living room to sees that Claire watcher her DVD copy of Rainbow bright. Tru sets the trash can down by the couch and her sister looks up at her.
Claire: Do you mind Tru, there was noting on Tv?
Tru: No, I will be down in a few minutes with the ear thermometer and a cold wash cloth to wipe you forehead and face off.
Claire: Good my face is all sweating. Can you bring a hair tie and comb down with you and braid my hair?
Tru: Yeah
Tru walks over to the staircase and heads upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. She walks over to the bed and set down. She then picks up the phone and dials her dads' cellphone number. Across town at Davies Law office, Richard Davies, is in his office having a meeting with Jack when his cellphone starts to ring. Richard grabs his cellphone and looks at the phone number to see it is Tru house number. He shows the caller ID on his cellphone to Jack.
Richard Davies: I putting my cellphone on specks so I need you to be really quite.
Jack: Ok
Richard Davies flip open his cellphone and hit the speaker button, as Jack takes a set on the couch.

Richard Davies: Tru I am a meet and can't talk right now.
Tru: Dad I would not call you doing a meet if it was not imported, but Claire is really sick with the stomach flu and she really want you. Don't mass thinks up with Claire and Oliver like you did with me, Harrison and Meredith. Tell the person you in a meet with your eight year daughter is sick and needs you to pick up and take her home.
Richard Davies: Yeah you are right I will be there in an hour.
Tru: That fine.
Richard Davies: See you then.
Tru hangs up with her father and slower stands up from the bed holding her stomach. She walks over to her dress which is on the wall across from the connected bathroom door. She grabs a long sleeve blue shirt and a pair of gray short. She changes into them really fast and then she walks into the bathroom. She grabs a hair tie, combs and ear thermometers. She then picks up a gold wash cloth and wets in down with cool water. She then walks out of the bathroom and out of the bedroom. She goes downstairs to her and Jensen living room. Tru takes a set next to Claire on the couch and wipes her sister face off with the wet wash cloth.
Claire: (As Tru wiping off her face.) Is our dad coming to get me and to take me home?
Tru: Yeah he will be here in an hour.
Claire: Thanks for call him Tru, I know the two of you don't have the best relationship.
Tru: Yeah, but we are trying to changes that so Harrison, Meredith and I can get to know you, your brother Oliver and your mom Jordan.
Claire: Can you do my hair before checking my temperature?
Tru: Yeah
Claire stands up and set down on the floor in front of her big sister. Tru starts to comb out her sisters' hair to get all the knots out. After she gets the last knots out of Claire hair, Tru starts to braid Clair hair. When she done braid her sisters' hair she taps her shoulder. Claire stands back up and set down on the couch next to her sister. Tru picks the thermometer up and puts it into Claire's left ear. The thermometer beeps thirty seconds later and Tru takes it out of Claire's ear to see her fever has not gone up at the sometime there is a knock on the front door. Tru stands up and walks over to the door. She looks through the peep hold to see it is her father. She opens the door and lets him into the house. Tru show her dad into the living room and Richard walks over to Claire who set on the couch at the sometime Tru sets down on the stairs and closes her eyes.
Richard Davies: Are you ready to go home, Claire?
Claire: Yeah dad.
Richard Davies: Ok, go tell Tru thanks for picking you up from school.
Claire shake her head yes then get up form the couch she grabs her book bag and then walks over to her older sister. Clair bends over and gives Tru and big hug.
Claire: Thanks for picking me up Tru and take care of me till Dad was able to come get me.
Tru: Bo big deal, it was nice to spent time with you, even if it was because you are sick.
Claire: We have to get together when I better.
Tru: Yeah we will Claire.
Claire: I look forward to it.
Richard Davies: Lets leave Claire, so Tru can go get some sleep since she works the night shift.
Claire: Ok
Tru stands up and starts to walk the two of them to the front door, but on the way she gets light head and has to grab onto her father shoulder to stop herself from falling. Richard Davies turn to look at his middle children from his fist marriage and he notices that she looks flush which worries him, because Tru never gets sick. He helps Tru over to the couch and helps her set down. Tru looks up at her father with a look that says I'm sorry.
Richard Davies: Tru's do you want me and Claire to stay here with you, because you seem sick yourself and seems to be really light head, plus you running really warm?
Tru: No, I will be fine, after I have something to eat and get some sleep.
Richard Davies: Are you sure?
Tru: Yeah.
Richard Davies: We can show our self out, if you not up to walk to the door with us.
Tru: No I am fine now.
Tru stands up and walks her father and sister to the door and see them out. She stands out the door and watches Claire and dad get into the car. Once her father has pulled out of the drive way she close the front door and locks it. Tru walks down the hallway and into the kitchen, she grabs a bottle of water and a piece of bread. She eats the bread and takes a few sips of water. Tru then heads upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. She lays down on the bed and falls right to sleep, but wakes up at twelve thirty and runs into the bathroom. She kneels down in front of the toilet and starts to throw up. After five minutes she stops get sick and walks over to the sink and washes her mouth out with some tap water. She then walks out of the bathroom and grabs the cordless phone off the night stand. She starts to dial the morgue number as she walks downstairs so she can see Jensen when he gets home. She heads into the kitchen and takes a set at the breakfast counter as she waits for Davis to pick up the morgue phone. Davis runs into his office and grabs the phone on the six ring.
Davis: You reach the county morgue, how can I help you?
Tru: It Tru, Davis.
Davis: Are you calling to say you can't make into work tonight?
Tru: Yeah, I can't keep anything down and I still have a fever.
Davis: Ok, But if you chance you mind there is lots of body here tonight that might want to ask for your help.
Tru: No, I am staying home sick.
Davis: All right, feel better soon.
Tru: Bye
Davis: Bye
Tru hangs up the phone at the sometime Jensen walks into the house through the back door, which is in the kitchen. He walks over to Tru and gives her a hug. Jensen then takes Tru right hand and pulls her off the stool and leads her into the living room and over to the staircase and leads her into they bedroom.
Jensen: Tru I want you to take a shower and then change into your nightshirt and go back to bed.
Tru: That show like a good idea.
Tru goes into the bathroom and closes the door. She gets undress and gets into the shower. Meanwhile Jensen has set down on the bed and start study for an exam.

* Time note the story takes place where the second season left off and it is now February 2005. Tru and Jensen have been dating since December. Tru has also told Jensen about how she relives days, because the dead people ask her to help them. She also tells him about him get shoot and dying and someone asks for help that day which cause the day to start over and she was able to save the person that asks for help and his life. Jensen was fine with what Tru told him and the two of them are living together.
Chapter one: Ache and feverish
Davis walks through the door lead into the Autopsy room at the morgue and sees that only one body come in during the night. He sees that Tru has already went through the personal items and logged them in and has took the note down on how the body looks, so all he has to do is the autopsy. Davis walks into the break room and sees Tru asleep on the couch. He walks over and set down the coffee he brought in for him and Tru on the coffee table. Then Davis gently shakes Tru on the shoulder. Tru open her eyes up then looks at her supervise, she then sets up. Davis hands her the coffee he brought her, Tru takes the coffee cup from Davis and she takes a sip of the coffee. Tru leans up against the back of the couch and closes her eyes again.
Davis: Everything all right Tru, because you normally do not fall asleep on the break room couch?
Tru: Yeah, I am just tired and ache is all, nothing some sleep won't fix.
Davis: Then go home and get some sleep.
Tru: I can't I have an anatomy 162 lab this morning and the professor tested the group on how well we can work together and how well we know all the part of the body.
Davis: Ok, but after the lab, I want you to go home and get some sleep because you are looking flush.
Tru: I am planing on going home, as soon as my group finishing the lab.
Tru stands up and goes and grabs her book bag off the desk and walks out of the break room and to the elevator. She is relived when the elevator door open right away, she gets into the elevator and push the button for the main floor. When the door of the elevator opens up Tru get off the elevator and walk out to Jensen's car. When Tru opens the passengers' door of the car Jensen looks at his girlfriend and notice that she looks wear out. Tru gets into Jensen's car and she throws her book bag onto the backseat.
Jensen: Your sister Meredith's return your car this morning.
Tru: Good, seeing that you have to work tonight and I you have to be at work before me.
Jensen: Tru maybe you should take tonight off and get some rest.
Tru: I wish that I could but it a Wednesday and that the must popular night for people asks for my help.
Jensen: I forget, but at lest take my car and go home after lab.
Tru: How will you get to work?
Jensen: Avery is work today she can give me a ride.
Tru: Ok
Jensen puts the car into drive and hard towards the campus. On the ride to the campus Tru closes her eyes and takes a cat nap. When Jensen has parked his car and turn off the car, he looks over at Tru and sees she is asleep. Jensen leans over and shakes Tru left shoulder. Tru opens her eyes and sees that they are at school.
Tru: I will meet you in the lab room Jensen I need to use the bathroom.
Jensen: Do you want me to take your book bag to class?
Tru: Yeah
They get out of the car and Jensen grabs both their book bags. Tru and Jensen walk into science building together, then he heads to the lab room and Tru's walk to the ladies' restroom. When Tru gets into the restroom she stops in front of the sink and mirror and sees that she does look flush. She turns the water on and splashes some cool water on her face. After a splash the water on her face she then dries it off with a paper towel and then head to the lab room. When Tru walks into the lab Jensen, Avery and Tyler look at her and then down at the body they will be working on.
Avery: Tru meet Mrs. Kaylee Time's
Tyler: Our assignment is that the four of us have to give her an autopsy and find her cause of death!
Tru: Great
Jensen: We should get to work.
Tyler, Avery and Jensen walk over to the body and get to work right away, but Tru walks over to one of the desk and take off her long sleeve shirt that she put on before leave work and she set it on the desk. She then walks over and joins Jensen, Avery and Tyler. Jensen walks up next to his girlfriend pull a stool and push the stool up behind her and kiss Tru's forehead. After he kisses her forehead Tru set down and picks up a scalpel and starts to cut open Kaylee Time's chest.
Tru: Thanks Jensen
Jensen: Your welcome and your forehead felt warm to my lips, I think you are running a fever Tru!
Tru: I do feel feverish and Ache!
Tyler: It sounds like you are sick Tru!
Tru: I never get sick!
Avery: You have been push yourself really hard maybe getting sick is your body way of saying slow down Tru Davies!
professor : Less talking about all of your personal lives and more talk about the reason way your person dead!
Jensen: Professor, can Tru be excused from today class, she is not feeling good?
professor: No, now get back to work.
A half hour into class Tru starts to shiver, so Jensen goes and get her grey long sleeve shirt and bring it over to her. Tru takes the shirt from him and puts it on and then they get back to work. Twenty minutes later the professor walks over to Tru group and take the group forum from Tyler and looks it over.
Professor: You have the right cause of death, she did dead form lung cancer and yes she was four weeks pregnant at the time of her death. The four of you also work together great and I'm give the group extra points for Tru pushes herself through class and continue to help the group even through she is not feeling good.
Tru: Is it alright If I take off a few minute early since our lab done?
Professor: Yes you can leave now Tru.
Tru: Thanks
Jensen hands Tru his car keys and she stands up and walks over to the desk that her book bag is setting on. She grabs her book bag and then walks out of the lab room. She then walks out to where Jensen's parked his car and gets into the drive seat. When she pulls Jensen's car into the drive of they house, she sees Harrison's car is parked on the side of the road. She puts the car into park and then she turns the car off. She grabs her book bag off of the passenger seat and then gets out of the car. Tru slower walks up to the front porch and up to the door. She unlocks the door then heads insides the house, she looks to her right and into the living room to see her brother set on the couch. Harrison stands up from the couch and walks over to Tru as she walks towards the staircase that on the wall across from you as you walk into the living room. Harrison takes his sister book bag from her then gives Tru a hug.
Harrison: Were you even going to say hi to me before you head upstairs Tru?
Tru: Sorry, I talk to you in a few minutes I really need to use the bathroom.
Harrison: OK, Sis I will go into the kitchen and make the two of us some apple cinnamon tea.
Tru: That sounds great.
Tru walks upstairs and walks into the first door on the left-hand side which is Jensen and her bedroom. She sets Jensen's car keys on the night stand. She walks to the end of the bed and past the window and then goes through the door lead into the connected bathroom. Tru walks over to the sink which is across from the door and the opens up the medicine cabinet and grabs the ear thermometer off the top shelf. She then puts the ear thermometer into her right ear and wait for it to beep. Thirty seconds later the thermometer beeps and she takes it out of her ear. She looks at the thermometer and sees that she has a fever of 101.9 F. She put the thermometer away and then head back downstairs. She had just set down on the couch when Harrison walks into the living room with their tea, in two large coffee mugs. Harrison walks over to his sister and hand her tea. Tru takes the hot tea from him and hand the mug in her hands. Harrison sets down on the coffee table and looks at his sister and he notices that she looks flush. Tru then set her mug down on the coffee table next to her brother.
Harrison: Sis you not look so hot are you feeling alright?
Tru: No, I am all ache and I also have a fever of 101.0 F. Plus my stomach is a little upset.
Harrison: Do you also have a headache, because you keep rubbing your forehead?
Tru: Yeah, do you mind taken off I am going to go lay down?
Harrison: Sure, I hope you feel better soon.
Tru: Yeah me too.
Harrison sees himself out and Tru walks upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. She lays down on the bed and falls to sleep right away.
Chapter Two: No rest for Tru!
Tru wakes up to the sound of her alarm clock buzzes in her ear, she rolls over and hits the off button. She slower set up in her bed and looks at the phone on the nightstand. She knows that she should call in sick to work, but that is not a choice since it is a Wednesday night. She gets out of bed and walks over to the closet. She reaches the closet door, which is next to the bathroom door and open it up. She grabs a pair of jeans and a pink tank top to wear that night and then she grabs a red shirt and another pair of jeans to wear for her study group and classes in the morning. She changes really fast then goes into the bathroom, she brushes her tooth and then combs her hair. Tru then looks in the mirror and she sees that she looks more flush, then before she went to bed that afternoon. She reaches up and opens up the medicine cabinet and takes the ear thermometer off the top shelf. She puts the thermometer into her right ear and set down on the edge of the bathtub to wait for the thermometer to beep. When the thermometer beeps she takes the thermometer out of her ear to see that her fever has went up and it is now 103.5 F thinking to herself. Great it no wonders that I feel ache all over and feverish, it because I am really sick. Tru grabs her the text books and notebooks that she needs for tomorrow, that are not in her book bag and she also grabs her cellphone off of the nightstand. She then walks out of Jensen and her bedroom and heads downstairs. She grabs her purse and book bag. She unzips the book and puts the text book and notebooks into the bag, she then walks out of the house and open up the garage door. She gets into her car and then back out of the driver way and starts to head to work, but stops to grabs a large coffee and gets a strawberry jelly fill doughnut from Tim Horton on the way. When she walks into the morgue, she sees that Davis is on a pick up and that he also left her a note saying that he is working with her tonight. She set down on the break room couch and eats her doughnut. A half hour later she has just started to fall asleep when Davis walks into the break room and over to the couch.
Davis: Come on Tru we have a body to process and then I need to do the Autopsy if the body does not ask you for your help.
Tru: I hope the body does not ask me for help.
Davis: That does not sound like you Tru!
Tru: Lets just get this over with.
Tru slower stands up holding her stomach and is fighting back the feeling that she is going to be sick to her stomach. The two of them walk towards the break room door that leads into the autopsy room and that when Davis notices that Tru is holding her stomach and looks worse then she did that morning. They walk over to the female body laying on the table and Davis notice Tru is turning green.
Davis: Tru's are you all right?
Tru: Yeah, I will go through her purse you can take the body.
Davis: That fine.
Tru walks over to the victims items and starts going through the purse. She finds the female wallet and opens it up.
Davis: I see that she has a wallet is there a drive license in the wallet Tru?
Tru: Yeah just find it her name is Becky Smith and she turned nineteen yesterday.
Davis: I cannot find any sing of a fight and she was not shot. They is also no head wound or sing of fighting back so way did she not wake up when her best friend was banging on they dorm room door, because she was lock out. Also, way was Beck full dress and way was her purse over her shoulder?
Tru: There is a note here Davis from her mom and it says Becky don't stop fighting the cystic fibrosis, you can handle fighting the disease and going to school. Please don't let a minor head cold, make you give up your dreams of being a special education teacher.
Davis: Maybe the head cold was worse then she let her mom know and her lungs give out?
Tru: Yeah maybe!
Tru goes back to looks through the items of clothing Beck had on her when she dead. She is now check the pockets of Becky jeans and finds uses tissues in the left pocket and two unused tissues in the right pocket.
Tru: Maybe, you find out what happened when you do the autopsy, Because the note and drive license are the only useful items beside for the use tissues that confirm she did have a head cold.
Davis: Anything else Tru?
Tru: Gag, no
Davis: Are you all right?
Tru: Yeah
Davis: Ok, I take it from here you go listen for the phones and work any college homework you have and also listen for bodies that are calling you for help!
Tru: Ok, But I have to take a restroom break first.
Davis: That is fine Tru!
Tru walks out the door that leads into the hallway and walks down the hallway to the lady's restroom. She opens the door and heads inside the restroom and into the first stalls close the door behind her. Tru set down on the restroom floor and then lean up against the wall close her eyes at the sometime. She is trying her hardest to fight back the feeling that she is going to be sick to her stomach, since she walked into the autopsy room a half hour ago, but can no longer fight the feeling that she is going to throw up and she lifts the toilet set up. She then leans over the toilet and starts throwing up. After what felt like an hour, she stopped throwing up and looks at her watch to see it has only been three minutes. She flush the toilet and puts the toilet seat lid back down. She then stands up and opens the stall door. She walks out of the restroom stall and over to the sink holding her stomach with both hands. Tru rinses her mouth out with water and then she splashes water onto her face, so she can cool herself down. She leaves the restrooms and heads to the break room, she grabs her book bag and takes a set in the desk chair. Tru unzips her book bag and takes out her Patient-Doctor Year one textbook and notebook and starts to outline chapter four. Davis walks into the break room two hours lately to see Tru asleep with her head laying on her textbook, which is on top of the desk. The phone rings and Davis's answers before it can wake up Tru. When he gets off the phone, he writes Tru a quickly note to let her know he went on a pick up just incased she wakes up while he is gone. Davis has only been gone for ten minutes when Tru cellphone starts ringing and wakes her up. She takes her cellphone off her hip and answer the cellphone.
Harrison: What up Sis?
Tru: Harrison way are you calling me at this time of night?
Harrison: Because you work night and are up all night. I also want to see if you feeling any better then at eleven thirty this morning?
Tru: No, I feel worse and I can keep anything down!
Harrison: Do you go into work or stay at home?
Tru: I'm at work, It Wednesday and you know I can't take Wednesdays off!
Harrison: You can take Monday and Thursday off either because these are high relive days too, Tru, But you are sick and should be at home in bed. I am sure that Davis would want you to take care of your self and go home since you are sick and that he would cover for you tonight.
Tru: Yeah, I know Davis would cover for me if he was not already on a pick up!
Harrison: Tru I'm worry about you!
Tru: I will be gag fine!
Harrison: Tru you have been push yourselves too far and need to slow down and I am also worry about you because you never get sick!
Tru: If I'm not better tomorrow I will call in sick I promise you.
Harrison: Ok, I have to go, I will check in with you tomorrow.
Tru: Sure.
Tru flips her cellphone closes and set it on the desk. She then stands up really fast and runs to the restroom. Tru comes out of the restroom ten minutes later to find Davis has still not getting back from the pick up that he has gone on. She walks into the process room and over to the cabinets. She opens up the cabinet next to the break room door and grabs one of the home pregnancy tests off of the shelf and then walk back to the restroom to take the test. Tru is still in the restroom five minutes late when Davis pushes the dead body into the process room. He logs the body in and then check the break room. He sees Tru textbook, notebook, cellphone and the desk but she is not there. Davis walks out of the process room and down the hallway to the lady's restroom and knocks on the main door.
Davis: Tru are you all right?
Tru: Yeah Davis I will be out in a second!
Davis: Ok, meet me in the process room we have a male body to process!
Tru: Ok
Davis walks back to the process room and at the sometime Tru stares down at the positive pregnancy test in her hands. She walks out of the restroom still holding the test and heads to the process room. Davis who is face the door sees the pregnancy test in Tru right hand as she walks through the door.
Davis: Tru what does the pregnancy test say and why do you look so worried?
Tru: It is positive and I am also running a fever along with being ache all over.
Davis: Go home and go to bed Tru.
Tru: I do not feel like be alone right now can I just sleep on the break room couch till my shift is over?
Davis: Sure
Tru heads into the break room and lays down on the couch. She closes her eyes and falls right to sleep.
Chapter Three: A very long day!
Tru's sleeps through the rest of her shift and does not wake up till she hears Harrison and Davis talk the next morning and the sunshine is coming through the window and hit her right in the eyes. She set up and starts rubbing her eyes. Harrison walks over to her and feels his sister forehead with his right hand. Then he pulls his sister up from the couch and Davis hand Tru her things. Tru looks at her Brother then at Davis with a look that says what is going on?
Harrison: Tru's don't act like you have no idea what going on you are sick and you need to go home.
Tru: Oh that all Harrison?
Harrison: Yeah, now I have to go or I will be late for work.
Tru: Ok, tell dad I say hi.
Harrison: I will Tru.
Harrison walks out of the break room and Tru throws her jacket and book bag onto the break room couch and puts the gym bag that is carrying her changes of clothing on her shoulder. She then looks up at Davis with a look that say if you say anything to my brother about me being pregnant I will hit you. Davis knows by the look that his co-work thinks he told her brother she is pregnant.
Davis: I did not tell your brother that you are pregnant Tru, I just tell him you was sick.
Tru: Good I want to let Jensen know he is going to coughs, be a father first then Jensen and I will let everyone know that I am pregnant.
Davis: Go home and go to sleep and if you are not able to come into work tonight just call and let me know.
Tru: Coughs, ok Davis I am going to change then I head out.
Davis: If you going home way are you changing?
Tru: Because I have to swing by the university to drop my homework off to my professors and to let them, Ah-choo, know I am sick and can't make class. Then I going to tell Jensen that I am pregnant along with still being sick and can't stay for the study group.
Davis: Ok
Tru walks out of the break room and through the process room. When she reaches the door of the process room and she pushes the door open and walks into the hallway. She slow walks down the hallway toward the ladies' restroom only to see her older sister Meredith walk towards her. She thinks to herself great what does Meredith want for me and why I'm I the first one she want to see after get out of rehab. Meredith reach Tru and the two of them look at eachother. Meredith then gives her little sister a big bear hug. When Meredith lets go of her sister, she gives Tru a worry look and then feel Tru's forehead with her left hand. As Meredith is feeling, her forehead Tru puts her left hand on her stomach. Meredith then notices that Tru is holding her stomach and give her sisters' very worry work.
Meredith: Tru you are running a fever and look awful why are you still at work.
Tru: I leaving after I change my clothes.
Meredith: Go home and then change into a pair of PJ Tru.
Tru: I have to drop my homework off with my professors and let them know I am sick and coughs can't make class. Then I have to let Jensen, Avery, and Tyler that I am sick and can't stay for study group.
Meredith: Tru just email you homework to your professors and call Jensen's about being sick and not being able to make the study group.
Tru: Sniff I would but there is something I need to tell Jensen in person.
Meredith: I am sure whatever it is can wait Tru, you are sick and I can't remember the last time you were sick.
Tru: What I have to tell Jensen can't wait Ah-choo. Plus the last time I was sick was two weeks after mom dead Meredith and I haven't been sick since.
Meredith: Tru's are you pregnant?
Tru: Yeah
Meredith: Congratulation sis, go change and then leave to head to the university and take care of drop your homework off and telling Jensen.
Tru: Thanks and Meredith don't say anything to Harrison or dad and his family I want to tell them.
Meredith: I won't now go change I will call you in a few days and when you feel better the two can go out to dinner.
Tru: Ok, what did you want Meredith?
Meredith: Just to say hi and let you know I am out of rehab. I also want to see you.
Tru: I see you around then.
The two of them walk down the hall together, when they reach the restroom Tru stops and walks inside the restroom and Meredith head out of the build. Tru changes into the red shirt and jeans she brought with her really fast then heads to the break room to her jacket and book bag. Meanwhile at the university Jensen is in the anatomy lab getting everything ready for the study group. He already has the surgery instrument out and is now pulling out the Mrs. Dew body, which is the body his group been assigned to work on. Jensen has just start to flip through his note to decide where the group should start study at when Tru walks into the lab. He walks over to Tru and gives her a worry look, because he notices she is holding her stomach and look worst then when he saw her last night before going to work. He takes his girlfriend right hand and leads her over to a stool.
Tru: You the one that might want to take a set Jensen.
Jensen: You the one that sick sweetie.
Tru: Just set down because the news I about to tell you might shock you.
Jensen: Ok Tru.
Jensen set down on a stool and Tru pulls a stool across from him and then take a set herself. She then takes a hold of Jensen right hand and sets it on her stomach. Jensen Just looks a Tru with a look that say what are you trying to tell me Tru. Tru takes a deep breath then looks at him and smiles.
Tru: I am pregnant Jensen!
Jensen: Can you say that again Tru?
Tru: I am pregnant!
Jensen: Thar what I thought you say Tru, do you still have a fever?
Tru: Yeah, also my throat is sore, I have stuffed up nose and I can't keep anything down,
Jensen: Sound like you have the stomach flu, how far long are you in the pregnancy Tru?
Tru: Let see it is Thursday, February 24 which means I am three and half weeks along.
Jensen: Are you up to study for the study group and classes Tru or do you want to go home?
Tru: I am going to go home, I already drop my homework off to the professors.
Jensen: Ok, I see you when get home after my last class.
Tru: Ok, will you walk be out to my car.
Jensen: Yeah
Tru and Jensen stand up and he takes Tru hands and they walk to the doors. We they are half to the lab door Avery and Tyler walks into the lab. Tyler and Avery toss their bags onto the desk by the door. Then start to walks over to their groups body, Tyler tap Avery on the shoulder then point to Tru and Jensen.
Avery: Where are two of you going.
Jensen: I am walk Tru out to her car, she is sick and is not able to stay for the study group or classes.
Tyler: That fine we will wait to start to you get back to start Jensen and I hope you feel better siin Tru.
Avery: I am working at the health center all work Tru, if you don't feel better in a few days stop by to have a doctor look you over and I hope you feel better soon.
Tru: Thanks bye.
Jensen and Tru walk out of the lab and down the hallway to the doors lead to the parking lot that Tru is park in. As they walk out of building toward Tru's car, she lays her head on Jensen right shoulder. He wraps his right arm around Tru's wrist and Jensen can't feel that she is burring up by the heat coming off her body. They reach Tru's purple Ford Mustang and she takes her keys out of her purse and unlocks the drive side door. Jensen pulls Tru towards him and kisses her forehead.
Jensen: When you get home I want you to take you temperature and push the fluids!
Tru: Ok, I will take my temperature, but I can't promise you about the fluids since I have not been able to keep anything down since midnight.
Jensen: At lest try, you have to think about someone else healthy now too, since you are pregnant.
Tru: I will try.
Jensen: Good, I see you around one o'clock when I get home from school.
Tru: See you then.
Tru gets into her car and Jensen close the door for her and Jensen then steps up at the sidewalk. Tru looks both ways and then back out of the parking spot. Jensen's wave good bye and watching Tru pull out of the packing lot in the directions of they house. He then heads inside the building and to the lab. As Tru is driving home her cellphone starts to ring, she grabs it out of her purse that setting on the passenger seat and looks to see who is calling. Tru looks at the phone number on the front of her phone and see it the school that her eight year old half sister Claire goes to. Tru flips the phone open and takes the call.
Tru: Tru Davies speaking, how may I help you?
Nurse Sunshine: I am the school nurse at Chest Wood elementary school where you half sister Claire goes.
Tru: Yeah, I know that but way did you call me?
Nurse Sunshine: Because she is sick and she needs to be sent home for school, because she has a fever of 103.1 and can't keep anything down. I have tried all the other phone number first and can't reach anyone that can pick her up. Harrison on a job, Mrs. Davies out of town visiting her sick mother and your father in meeting all day. He ask that you pick Claire up and take her to your house he will pick her up after his last meet of the day.
Tru: Sure, I will be there in fifteen minutes.
Nurse Sunshine: Thanks, see you then.
Tru flip her cellphone closed and tosses the cellphone onto the passenger seat and makes a left hand turn when she reaches the intersections. As she is driving down the street she grew up, she sees the house she lived in before her mom died. Tru pulls her car up in front of the house and put the purple mustang into parks. Tru looks at the house for a minute and remembers her mom push the tire swing that was in the front yard so she, Harrison and Meredith could swing in the swing at the sometime. She then notices the tire swing is still hanging from the same tree in the front yard. She looks up at the two story house and see that it is still paint yellow. She pulls her self together and pulls her car back onto the road and drives to Chest Wood elementary school to pick up Claire. Ten minutes late she pulls her mustang into a parking spot in front of the school and turns it off. Tru gets out off her car and grabs her purse. She throws her keys in her purse and sees that the school has not change at all in the twelve years since she has gone there. She puts her hands in her jean pockets and heads inside the school. As she walks down the hallway to the nurse station she has to pass the gym and is surprise to see that the gym teacher is the someone that she had when she went to the school. Tru sees her half brother Oliver in gym class. Oliver comes runs over to the gym door and Tru sees he looks just like Harrison. Oliver comes up to Tru and gives his older half sister a hug. At the sometime the gym teacher Mr. Sim walks over to them.
Mr. Sim: Nice to see you Tru Davies, your little brother is a fast running just like you Tru .
Oliver: I beat you fast time running in elementary school yesterday.
Tru: That great
Oliver: You come to pick up Claire and take her home right?
Tru: Yeah, I need to go get your sister Oliver and take her to my house.
Oliver: Ok, I see you lately.
Tru starts walking down the hallway again and gets to the nurse station a minute later. She opens up the door lead into the nurse station and sees her blonde hair and hazel eyes half-sister, laying on the recovered couch that is by the door. Tru walks over to the nurse desk and shows the nurse her diver license and then sign Claire out. She then walks over to the couches and walks up her half sister. Claire rolls over and opens up her eyes and sees Tru kneel next to her. Claire set up looking at her older sister and starts to cry. Tru gives her a big hug and she rubs her back. Claire lays her head on Tru left shoulder and close her eyes.
Claire: Tru where is daddy?
Tru: He could not get off work to come get you, he will pick you up from my house on his way home from work.
Claire: Ok, you look tired Tru did you have a long night at work?
Tru: No long then anyother night.
Tru grabs her sister book bag and takes her right hand. Tru and Claire walk out of the nurse stations and down the hallway to main doors of the school then they walk out to Tru's car. Tru unlocks the car door and Claire gets into the back seat. Tru gets into the driver seat and turn around to back sure her sister has put her seat belt on. Tru then starts her car and drives to her and Jensen house, by the time they reach the house Claire falling to sleep in the back seat of the car. Tru put the car into park and turn it off. She grabs her purse and then opens up the back door and lifts her sister off the seat and carry Claire to the front door. She opens the door then carry Claire inside and into the living room. She lays Claire on the couch then heads outside to get her book bag, Claire book bag and her cellphone out of her car. When Tru walks back into the house, she sees Claire is not laying on the couch, so she walks into the living room and drops the book bag behind the couch. Tru then walks past out of the living room and to the next room on the right which is the downstairs bathroom and she hears Claire throwing up. Tru walks over to the crack bathroom door and knock on it. Claire pushes the door open and Tru walks into the bathroom and pulls her sisters' hair out of her face. Claire looks up at Tru when she stops getting sick and at the sometime set down on the floor.
Claire: Tru I want my Mom and dad can you call them and get one of them to pick me up? And thanks for keep my hair out of my face.
Tru: It not be deal, I know how hard it is to keep long hair out of your face when you are throwing up. I try to reaches our dad, but I can't get hold of your mom since she is not in town.
Claire: Ok, if you can get dad to pick me up that good enough. Can I watch some tv Tru?
Tru: Yeah, go into the living the tv remote is on the coffee table. I will go upstairs and call our dad.
Claire: OK
The young girl and Tru walk out of the bathroom and down the hallway. They both turn into the living room, which is on the right-hand side as you come into the house through the front door. Claire slower walks over to the couch holding her stomach and she set down on the couch. Tru stops and she look at her sister walks over to her.
Tru: Claire, do you want me to get you gold trash can from the downstairs bathroom, so if you need to throw up you don't have to run back into the bathroom?
Claire: Yeah
Tru: Ok
Tru walks out of the living room and walks to the downstairs bathroom. When she gets into the bathroom, she leans up against the bathroom sink and she closes her eyes. She then grabs the trash can walks back to the living room. Tru walks into her living room to sees that Claire watcher her DVD copy of Rainbow bright. Tru sets the trash can down by the couch and her sister looks up at her.
Claire: Do you mind Tru, there was noting on Tv?
Tru: No, I will be down in a few minutes with the ear thermometer and a cold wash cloth to wipe you forehead and face off.
Claire: Good my face is all sweating. Can you bring a hair tie and comb down with you and braid my hair?
Tru: Yeah
Tru walks over to the staircase and heads upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. She walks over to the bed and set down. She then picks up the phone and dials her dads' cellphone number. Across town at Davies Law office, Richard Davies, is in his office having a meeting with Jack when his cellphone starts to ring. Richard grabs his cellphone and looks at the phone number to see it is Tru house number. He shows the caller ID on his cellphone to Jack.
Richard Davies: I putting my cellphone on specks so I need you to be really quite.
Jack: Ok
Richard Davies flip open his cellphone and hit the speaker button, as Jack takes a set on the couch.

Richard Davies: Tru I am a meet and can't talk right now.
Tru: Dad I would not call you doing a meet if it was not imported, but Claire is really sick with the stomach flu and she really want you. Don't mass thinks up with Claire and Oliver like you did with me, Harrison and Meredith. Tell the person you in a meet with your eight year daughter is sick and needs you to pick up and take her home.
Richard Davies: Yeah you are right I will be there in an hour.
Tru: That fine.
Richard Davies: See you then.
Tru hangs up with her father and slower stands up from the bed holding her stomach. She walks over to her dress which is on the wall across from the connected bathroom door. She grabs a long sleeve blue shirt and a pair of gray short. She changes into them really fast and then she walks into the bathroom. She grabs a hair tie, combs and ear thermometers. She then picks up a gold wash cloth and wets in down with cool water. She then walks out of the bathroom and out of the bedroom. She goes downstairs to her and Jensen living room. Tru takes a set next to Claire on the couch and wipes her sister face off with the wet wash cloth.
Claire: (As Tru wiping off her face.) Is our dad coming to get me and to take me home?
Tru: Yeah he will be here in an hour.
Claire: Thanks for call him Tru, I know the two of you don't have the best relationship.
Tru: Yeah, but we are trying to changes that so Harrison, Meredith and I can get to know you, your brother Oliver and your mom Jordan.
Claire: Can you do my hair before checking my temperature?
Tru: Yeah
Claire stands up and set down on the floor in front of her big sister. Tru starts to comb out her sisters' hair to get all the knots out. After she gets the last knots out of Claire hair, Tru starts to braid Clair hair. When she done braid her sisters' hair she taps her shoulder. Claire stands back up and set down on the couch next to her sister. Tru picks the thermometer up and puts it into Claire's left ear. The thermometer beeps thirty seconds later and Tru takes it out of Claire's ear to see her fever has not gone up at the sometime there is a knock on the front door. Tru stands up and walks over to the door. She looks through the peep hold to see it is her father. She opens the door and lets him into the house. Tru show her dad into the living room and Richard walks over to Claire who set on the couch at the sometime Tru sets down on the stairs and closes her eyes.
Richard Davies: Are you ready to go home, Claire?
Claire: Yeah dad.
Richard Davies: Ok, go tell Tru thanks for picking you up from school.
Claire shake her head yes then get up form the couch she grabs her book bag and then walks over to her older sister. Clair bends over and gives Tru and big hug.
Claire: Thanks for picking me up Tru and take care of me till Dad was able to come get me.
Tru: Bo big deal, it was nice to spent time with you, even if it was because you are sick.
Claire: We have to get together when I better.
Tru: Yeah we will Claire.
Claire: I look forward to it.
Richard Davies: Lets leave Claire, so Tru can go get some sleep since she works the night shift.
Claire: Ok
Tru stands up and starts to walk the two of them to the front door, but on the way she gets light head and has to grab onto her father shoulder to stop herself from falling. Richard Davies turn to look at his middle children from his fist marriage and he notices that she looks flush which worries him, because Tru never gets sick. He helps Tru over to the couch and helps her set down. Tru looks up at her father with a look that says I'm sorry.
Richard Davies: Tru's do you want me and Claire to stay here with you, because you seem sick yourself and seems to be really light head, plus you running really warm?
Tru: No, I will be fine, after I have something to eat and get some sleep.
Richard Davies: Are you sure?
Tru: Yeah.
Richard Davies: We can show our self out, if you not up to walk to the door with us.
Tru: No I am fine now.
Tru stands up and walks her father and sister to the door and see them out. She stands out the door and watches Claire and dad get into the car. Once her father has pulled out of the drive way she close the front door and locks it. Tru walks down the hallway and into the kitchen, she grabs a bottle of water and a piece of bread. She eats the bread and takes a few sips of water. Tru then heads upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. She lays down on the bed and falls right to sleep, but wakes up at twelve thirty and runs into the bathroom. She kneels down in front of the toilet and starts to throw up. After five minutes she stops get sick and walks over to the sink and washes her mouth out with some tap water. She then walks out of the bathroom and grabs the cordless phone off the night stand. She starts to dial the morgue number as she walks downstairs so she can see Jensen when he gets home. She heads into the kitchen and takes a set at the breakfast counter as she waits for Davis to pick up the morgue phone. Davis runs into his office and grabs the phone on the six ring.
Davis: You reach the county morgue, how can I help you?
Tru: It Tru, Davis.
Davis: Are you calling to say you can't make into work tonight?
Tru: Yeah, I can't keep anything down and I still have a fever.
Davis: Ok, But if you chance you mind there is lots of body here tonight that might want to ask for your help.
Tru: No, I am staying home sick.
Davis: All right, feel better soon.
Tru: Bye
Davis: Bye
Tru hangs up the phone at the sometime Jensen walks into the house through the back door, which is in the kitchen. He walks over to Tru and gives her a hug. Jensen then takes Tru right hand and pulls her off the stool and leads her into the living room and over to the staircase and leads her into they bedroom.
Jensen: Tru I want you to take a shower and then change into your nightshirt and go back to bed.
Tru: That show like a good idea.
Tru goes into the bathroom and closes the door. She gets undress and gets into the shower. Meanwhile Jensen has set down on the bed and start study for an exam.
