True Blood

I love True Blood! 😀

I started reading the books after I watched season 1. I got through them in record time. I agree that they are badly written, but they are fun and I enjoy them. I'm looking forward to the next one 🙂

My favourite characters on the show are Eric, Pam, Jessica and Lafayette 🙂

I really don't like Bill, I find him so irritating. Although, I do find his cheesy over acting amusing sometimes "Sookehhh" lol. And I do enjoy his relationship with Jessica.

I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT JESSICA AND HOYT. sorry but I loveee them and I totally forgot about them they are so cute IMO 🙂 I hope there is alot more of them next season

They really are but I feel bad for Jessica lol that problem she has when they get intimate. Were they together at the end of the season? For some reason I remember getting a feeling that bill and Jessica were gonna hook up..........
 
The vibe I get from Bill and Jess is very much father-daughter, and they're both learning how to be vampires/people from each other.

Jess and Hoyt
weren't together at the end of the second season, and I think they're still working on it in the third.

Really?! Lol. I don't see it that way at all. I think they have a nice father/daughter relationship.

I like Terry and Arlene together aswell. Sure, Terry is a little...mental, lol. But he is so sweet 🙂

I think it was when she was crying for some reason she hugged him in a weird way idk I got a weird impression. I see them as very father/daughter so idk idk lol I just got a weird vibe.

Terry and Arlene are so good together but I can't look at Terry without seeing him as Lanes boyfriend from Gilmore girls lol! And the demon baby... Did she end up aborting it geez I can't remember anything

At the end of season 3,
didn't Hoyt buy a house for Jessica and say he wanted to marry her?
They are so cute! I'm rooting for them! 🙂

The baby isn't a "demon" right? It's Rene's and she just thinks its going to turn out to be an evil person like him. Nope, she didn't. I remember she tried to get rid of the baby with the help of Holly but it didn't work.

I love Pam, she is so awesome! She is such a snarky bitch, lol. I love her relationship with Eric and that we got to see more of it in season 3.

There better be some Sookie/Eric hotness in season 4, or I'm gonna be totally pissed! lol.

I liked the first 2 seasons, but season 3 is definitely my favorite because there's new awesome characters like Alcide, and the storyline gets more interesting. My favorite characters are Eric, Arlene, and Pam. And I'm Team Eric by far, I hate Bill because he's so annoying! Hopefully, we'll get to see more Eric/Sookie moments in the new season 🙂.

Oooh I love Sookie and Eric action. they got me so many times with those dreams in the last season! I think Sookie and Alcide are def gonna hook up this season they have major sexual tension there lol thank god bill is out of the picture for a while, I can't believe he lied to her about knowing what she was the whole freaking time!

In a weird way isn't bill/Sookie/Eric kinda like Angel/Buffy/spike

Yeah, I can sort of see it. The pretty blonde girl with the goofy name that is more than human. The dark haired broody guy who is her first love. And the sexy blonde guy who is clearly a better match for her, lol 😉

Clearly better than for her than Bill. Erik is so attractive it's great. Gosh so is Spike.

Oooh and don't forget both dark broody men had prior knowledge of their blonde supergirls and sought them out for that specific reason. Not like the attractive blonde vampires who simply hated at first sight but then fell in love with said girls 🙂

Lol wow, I couldn't disagree more about that.


On the general topic of True Blood I'll say that I love hate the show - I was really disappointed when I first watched it because I was so stuck in the books.

On a re-watch however I must say that season 1 was better than I remembered, except that Jason is still gross and Sam is uber annoying.

S2 is a bit of a let down except for yay more Eric and Jessica was an inspired idea. I don't really care for the Mary-Ann story though, that's the only flaw in my book and it kind of takes over completely towards the end.

S3 I love. And not only cause of Alcide 🙂 I just think they've really found their stride here (or maybe I've just gotten enough distance from the books). Jason remains gross however...

I can believe he lied. For some reason he always came off as weird to me. Not weird weird but like he wasn't as great as he pretended to be. At least the way he acted like he was above Eric in that sense.

I actually don't see to many similarities there between them because
Bill's love was a lie where as Angel did love Buffy. I can see the similarity in Spike loving Buffy but then again Eric shows no interest in becoming a better man lol and I am okay with that.
 
I can see surface-like similarities like I mentioned above, but nothing really more than that.

I have a question about the last episode of season 3.

Wtf was with Bill in the last ep? Since when can he go all floaty and imitate Eric's voice?! I think I remember from the book that he could levitate or something but he told Sookie that he couldn't do stuff like that, right? So that was all just another lie to make him seem more human and less threatening to Sookie or something?

I don't remember that part and I'm upset because they took it off HBO on demand so I can't rewatch it. I'll see if I can read up on it and see what I get
