Truly i am orphaned

My mother was a huge Buffy fan. For the last years of her life it was .... Buffy Buffy Buffy spikey-poo and Buffy and Oh lets not forget the praises of DyHoffryn and these where mostly the names of her cats. (funny she never named a cat buffy though)

I, being the ever dutiful daughter mangaged to ignore 96% of what she talked about. But then, in the last two months of her life she came to live with me i joined in on the morning buffy ritaul.

I tried to resist. And did well at first. Found the show interesting, i loved the way they talked. But it was all so strange and soap-operay. And besides My MOM liked it....that is SOOO not cool.

Then she died.

In honner of her, one day, i put in her buffy season one.

I was HOOKED. My mother also had Season Four.

I was totally LOST.

and so i have gone and collected every season. and i am now Buffy SPike SPike SPike, Willow and buffy.

I am working on getting my daughter hooked. That is going well. Shoot i am almost a complete family.

Except my mother isnt here to talk about the buffster with me. I shall never dig the groove with her philosphical associations with the characters. I will only ever see what i think she saw of herself in the people and drama of the show.

IT is kinda poetic, dont you think? My mothers obession with buffy will always be there to keep us together some how.

Or alternatively you could go to the Board index, scroll down to the list of members that have been online today and look for his name there to click. And as much as he is online, he will be in thast list 😉

OK, so I was the first to reply. Just not as a post. But I have also done that in the past without ending up as the adopter. Then again, those times the "egg" hasn´t chosen me. Personally I didn´t even know that was an option.

So, staff meeting anyone?

insanezenmiss Whether or not I end up being your offical adopter, you´re free to send me as many ps/vm´s as you like. You wouldn´t be the first one. 😉
