Turtle update

Some of you may remember that I sponsored a Greek sea turtle a few months ago and asked for suggestions for her name -

I finally received the paperwork from the Archelon charity a couple of days ago so I can give you an update on my turtle.

Her name is Alexia (I didn't get to name her after all 🙁 but she'll always be Mrs Pointy to me 🙂) and she was spotted nesting on a Zakynthos beach in July and tagged at that time. I hope to receive further updates throughout the year.

This is fascinating. It will be interesting to see where she turns up. We saw turtles in Cozumel, and we heard they turn up regularly in the Azores...that's a lot of swimming, even for a turtle! Keep us posted, Mr. P! (and enjoy the high desert in Southwest!)
