What Did You Think of the ANGEL Series Finale?

I thought it was great, but I still think they should have never made Girl in Question. They should have made a 3 part finale instead.
 
I'm still not sure if I liked it or not...I liked that it wasn't really predicatable...but I would have liked it wrapped up a little bit more...
 
i can honestly say that it worked very well for me.
i mean, it would have been cool to see angel chop off a dragon's head and then cut to black, but i liked it all the same!
 
I think it could have ended better

Hi everybody, so far every1 has been saying it was agood ending to Angel but i dont, it shoud have ended properly, still with an open end but with more closure cos we dont really know what happened, unlike in Buffy series 7. it reminds me of buffy series 5 cos i fort that was the end for buffy and it left a lot of unanswered questions. i think that it was stupid for their not to be buufy, willow, other scoobies and other slayers to be invovled, i mean willows like a really powerful witch and m8s wid dem lot in the coven who have seers so they would have seen this fight coming and buffy and co would have gone to help Angel. i fort it would have Willow in, i dont know why i just think she hasn't really recahed her potential. i mean the only time we have ever really see her fight was when she went evil and she kicked every1s ass. i would have also liked to see more of ellirya fighting cos we didnt see much of her after she lost most of her powers. i also just realised that Angel would have contacted Faith cos she would have definetly helped him, more slayers should have bin involved i mean there are hundreds now if not 1000s surely the PTB would have sent more help to Angel than spike, ellyria and gunn who lets face it are not match for a demon army, ange and ellyria might be cos shes a demon goddess and he had the blood of the wolf, the ram and the hart in him that he took from Hamilton or wot eva he was called. i also think theyr'e gona do sumthin wid lorne cos y wud they not make include him in the final fight, if it was the fight, if you wana chat more email me

well too be perfetly honest with everyone.. I felt cheated... I'm one of biggest Buffy/Angel fans there is... And them leaving the fans hanging like that sucked... You don't end a series on a cliff hanger... There's no point to it what so ever... Now the fans are left wondering did they all bite the big one, or did they kick some demon ass.. these are questions the fans want answered.. Things I didn;t like about the the finale.. Number 1 and most important... Killing Wesley off.. There was no call for that.. If they were intending on doing these made for tv movies.. I'm sure like myself most of the fans would of loved to see how the relationship between him and Illyria was going to blossom... If anything Kill Gunn off I mean hell he hasn't had a descent story in quite some time.. Having Conner reapper and answer the question he knew Angel was his father was great... I agree that there shouls of been some of the cast from BTVS on the series finale.. I mean if wasn't for BTVS Angel the series would never of happened.. Willow, Kennedy, Faith anyone.. Even Xander would of been cool... So like I said I felt I was cheated, knowing now I have to wait till god knows how long to get the 1000 upon 1000 of questions I have too be answered... If they ever are answered...
 
I have to agree with the previous 2 posts. To me it felt very rushed (which it was of course). The open ending seems as tho Joss didn't know how to end it, then just decided not to. To me the best seasons in both BTVS and Angel were the ones where the final episode of the season was built up all the way through (eg. battling Glory in BTVS Season 5). I enjoyed the final episode, but I don't feel like the show ended. It was a little to weak for my taste.
 
Well, I was extremly happen that Joss did not kill off Angel. Though it was sad to see Wesley go. He got to be with Fred. Illyria really held her own in the fight. They all did a great job. I thought the cliffhanger ending was very different, in a good way. Make up your own ending is cool with me.

What do u mean
we dont even know if angel and the gang survived.......
i mean the reality is that they didn't...

I dont mind open endings but not if they KNOW that the show wont go on and tv movies will not happen...... It leaves the fans with too many questions....... if they are gonna kill the gang of i wanna know that they did......
I love the jossverse.......
have done for how many years now....... 10 ???

if the whole buffy, angel, spike - vampires and so on is not going to continue i at least wanna know what happens to the gang.....
I cant belive it has finished.......
