Help TV Show Recommendations

Im nearly at the end of my Buffy rewatch and Ive got nothing to watch afterwards so I come to you, dear BuffyBoarders for help on this matter.

Any recommendations are welcome😀

Great thread! I could use some too!

I recommend:

* Twin peaks: David Lynchs masterpiece about agent Cooper and the mysterious death of Laura Palmer. Funny, exciting, scary, adorable, mad. The greatest show you'll ever watch. Besides Buffy. 🙂

* Skins UK (especially season 1 - 2): Great show about young adults drinking a lot of alcohol and taking a lot of drugs. 🙂 Really gets to your heart.

Queer as folk UK : One of the best shows I've ever seen. About 3 gay men living in manchester. Really witty dialouge, and one of the greatest unlucky love stories you'll ever see! But I should warn you, the sex scenes are really graphic. 🙂

Queer As Folk US sorry, but the UK version is terrible 😛 the American show is so much better! I'm gonna do a re-watch of that myself soon...

I like a bit of Supernatural stuff (might watch Charmed), Comedy, Action and a bit of Drama

@ Username and This Years Girl, Im not a homophobe or anything but I cant get into those gay shows, although I did like The L Word.

Have you seen Being Human (the original, UK version)? There's 2 complete series and the third is currently airing. I'd rec it to anyone, it's fantastic.

Doctor Who's always a good choice, and its spin-off, Torchwood.

On the non sci-fi side of things, I love The IT Crowd and The Inbetweeners, both very funnny shows.

If you're into things like The IT Crowd, I also recommend things like The Mighty Boosh and Black Books. Or Misfits! I dunno, I dunno what you're in to or have already seen but they are some of my fave TV shows. And I also approve of all the mentions of Doctor Who, Torchwood and Supernatural!

Oh and if you like horror I reccomend Harper's Island.
OH and I reccomend BBC's Sherlock!

I'm gonna post this before I end up sitting here listing every TV show I've ever enjoyed in my entire life.

Point Pleasant. It was cancelled so it may be a little tough to find but its interesting. A girl is drowning and a lifegaurd saves her. He takes her to the town doctor. She doesnt remember much but it comes out that shes the daughter of the devil and she has some abilities. She wants to find her birth mother but shes supposed to end the world. You should check it out.

Please please please watch this. It's amazing. There's only six episodes per series so you can easilly watch the first series in less than three hours, so it's not that time dedicated to something you might not like.

Those are about the only shows I'm watching right now. Nothing else is really pulling my interest, and I'm too far behind with Being Human to catch up now.

Fringe is great- I am not watching the current season yet since I'm still on s1.

For comedies, I am loving The Big Bang Theory.

Alias, without a shadow of a doubt. Phenomenal story and one of the best set of characters ever.

And definitely The Vampire Diaries. Easily one of THE best shows I've seen in such a long time. Fantastic writing and such amazing chemistry between the cast.

If you like sci fi stuff, then The X Files is always a good shout!
