Have you seen Being Human (the original, UK version)? There's 2 complete series and the third is currently airing. I'd rec it to anyone, it's fantastic.
Doctor Who's always a good choice, and its spin-off, Torchwood.
On the non sci-fi side of things, I love The IT Crowd and The Inbetweeners, both very funnny shows.

Im gonna be hung for this but I look at the previews for Doctor Who and it looks terrible, I decided not to judge a book by its cover and watch an Ep, not my thing
If you're into things like The IT Crowd, I also recommend things like The Mighty Boosh and Black Books. Or Misfits! I dunno, I dunno what you're in to or have already seen but they are some of my fave TV shows. And I also approve of all the mentions of Doctor Who, Torchwood and Supernatural!
Oh and if you like horror I reccomend Harper's Island.
OH and I reccomend BBC's Sherlock!
I'm gonna post this before I end up sitting here listing every TV show I've ever enjoyed in my entire life.
I watch The Mighty Boosh and Black Books every now and then.
Misfits was a joke (Its like Heroes and Skins bastard son).
Doctor Who same as above.
I watched the first few episodes of Supernatural but it was all Highway Ghost, Lake Ghost, House Ghost, Ghost Haunting Amy Acker but I was considering giving it another try if I cant find anything else.
Point Pleasant. It was cancelled so it may be a little tough to find but its interesting. A girl is drowning and a lifegaurd saves her. He takes her to the town doctor. She doesnt remember much but it comes out that shes the daughter of the devil and she has some abilities. She wants to find her birth mother but shes supposed to end the world. You should check it out.

Because I don't want this to turn into a list of shows I like... do you have a basic list of shows you like?
I like a bit of Supernatural stuff (might watch Charmed), Comedy, Action and a bit of Drama
Being Human and Spaced are both good British shows. Black Books is good too.
Everyone loves this "Being Human", might look into it
The IT Crowd.
Please please please watch this. It's amazing. There's only six episodes per series so you can easilly watch the first series in less than three hours, so it's not that time dedicated to something you might not like.
Another BB favorite, will look into it
If you can get it, check out the pilot for Bedlam 🙂
But I'll echo Being Human (UK version only) and Spaced.
Another Spaced and more The IT Crown, will look into it
Supernatural
Leverage
Glee
Vampire Diaries
Criminal Minds
No Ordinary Family
Those are about the only shows I'm watching right now. Nothing else is really pulling my interest, and I'm too far behind with Being Human to catch up now.
Leverage: Never heard of it
Glee: Behave!
Vampire Diaries: Was gonna watch it because of Mia Kirshner (Jenny from The L Word) but never got around to it, plus their Vampire Physics are laughable
Have you watched Angel yet? If not, do so immediately.
Firefly!!!!!!!!!!! There's no question: watch it, watch it now.
Fringe is great- I am not watching the current season yet since I'm still on s1.
For comedies, I am loving The Big Bang Theory.
Love Castle, Glee, and I'm a huge Big Love fan.
Seen Angel and Firefly a bazillion times over
😀, I didn't laugh once when I watched Big Bang Theory, watch Castle every now and then, Glee? no thanks
