Just a heads up guys, I know most of you love Glee but Id rather shove Mangoes in my ears and pineapples in my eyes and call my head "Fruit Salad" than watch it.
I have never seen more than two episodes of bones but I heard from numerous people it is really really good and David Boreanaz and his costar Emily Daschshaiaoabalajll (I have no idea what her last name really is) have AMAzing chemistry. I have to admit I have watched alot of their behind the scenes interviews and their chemistry is great I've never seen anything like it, if I was his wife Id be jealouss

Grrr Arrgh! I love glee 🙂 but I can understand how people don't like it, I used to hate the idea of it but the music is really good and I even find myself buying it on iTunes now.........

And The War at Home. It only got two seasons.. it never came back after the writer's strike... but it deserved so much more I have a theory it was just on TV several years too early. If it was now, ratings would be super high. Well maybe not super high but high enough... anyway it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. I recommended it to anyone who hasn't already seen it.

It is honestly one of the best things to have hit television in a long time. It's just so fresh and original and not afraid to go completely out there. It's a very daring and controversial show. But it doesn't feel like it's trying to controversial to get attention, it's just showing the straight-up truth of life. The writing at times reaches astromical levels of brilliance, and the cinematography is plain beautiful.
It's strange in that every two seasons, the cast is completely changed. S1-2 was "Generation 1", and 3-4 was Generation 2. S5, with Generation 3, has just started, it's threee episodes through. You might want to start with S5 so you can keep up with the latest episodes (there's very little linkage between generations so you can easily start with any one of them), or you can start from the very beginning. S1 I think is the best season.
The West Wing is one of the greatest dramas of all time and deserves to be viewed. The writing is magical, no exceptions. The acting is stunning. The show is very well-rounded, it can deftly switch between drama and comedy with skill. The cast is amazing and the connections between all the characters are a joy to watch. I should warn though that it is not as easy show to watch. You will spend a lot of time not knowing what on Earth is going on. But that kinda adds to its charm 🙂
On the comedy side of things, I have one thing to say.
Community.
It is the best comedy to grace television... part of me wants to say ever. It's fresh and original and daring and surreal and it will go places that no other sitcom will. The cast is so endearing and likeable, they're very strong, vibrant characters. And the bond between them is amazing. They all have amazing chemistry with each other and as such the friendship between them feels very real and heartfelt. Weirdly, yesterday my statistics tutor started talking about it and I think he was spot-on when he described it as "A show that will actually make your life better for having watched it."
I'd say Doctor Who and Misfits too, but apparently you didn't like them so vOv.

Although, I contest it not being easy to watch, I covered all 7 seasons in 3 weeks over Christmas break and if anything the content was an asset. I learned so much and had an absolutely amazing time whilst doing it!

Community is probably the funniest American show on right now.
I also just finished Sherlock, which was pretty fantastic!
I watched 2 seasons of Lie to Me, which was very good most of the time.
And if you've never seen it, watch Dexter, or at least the first 4 seasons of it. 5 was just ehhhh...
Oh, and of course the IT Crowd! It's hilarious and the seasons are pretty short so you can definitely get through them pretty fast.
I have tons more to suggest, but my dog is staring at me with his puppy eyes because I need to feed him dinner.

I'm halfway through season 2, so I don't know the whole story, yet. There were a couple things that bugged me (like too much romance in S.1.) but overall, brilliant. Maria DeLuca is a total WIN character adding people plus!
Put simply: if you like aliens, magic, mysteries, government conspiracy, young singers, great lines (welcome to the ever expanding I Know An Alien Club!), blondes, brunettes, school, love, and life, it's a good show.

I finished Veronica Mars a few months ago and overall, it wasn't anything above average. Season 1 was pretty good and Season 2 was okay, but Season 3 wasn't very good.
I just started watching the Stargate franchise and I'm loving it so far! I'd recommend that show to watch.
I meant that you do have to concentrate at least a bit to understand what's going on. It's not hard to watch per se, but it's not the kind of show you watch when you've got a hangover. (No, it didn't learn that from experience... *whistles innocuously*)

It's easy to get sure. Watch the first episode, if you don't like it don't bother continue watching. I'd say it's amazing though but not everyone got the same taste.
I've watched random episodes on tv for years and years and suddenly I found myself having season one of Stargate: Atlantis. Soon I'm done with season 5 and I can watch SG-1 as normal people start with.

That's kind of like what I did. I started watching some reruns of SG-1 on Syfy this year, but then I started watching season 1 of Stargate Universe a couple weeks ago. I've never seen Stargate Atlantis, but I plan on watching the franchise from the beginning really soon, so I'll definitely see how it is.
