TV Shows Season Finale *possible spoilers*

So, summer is coming, thank God, but there is one bad thing. 3 months without new episodes of our favourite shows. So, what have you been watching, and will you be watching it next year?

Bones will get another season, but from the new promo, we heard something about Brennan leaving. That's impossible. I mean, if they're gonna make another season, they can't make her leave. I think Booth is gonna chase her down the airport or something. In the end, we'll get another romantic season eding.
As for you who watch True Blood, season premiere is on 13 June.
Glee will have another season, of course, but as I heard, it's going to be somewhere in 2011?
Lost fans will get their end this month, on 23 May. It was a good and mysterious show.
Grey's Anatomy will have season 7, so yay, although I've heard it's going to be the last. And I was shocked by the promo for the season finale. Has anyone saw it?
Desperate Houseweives will also get season 7, but it'll probably be their last also, and this season finale is going to be a bomber!
How I Met Your Mother will get another season, no argue with that, that is clear as air!
One Tree Hill, well still no words about season 8, there is a petition going on, but I don't know which is the worst, having it or not having it. I can't say it's bad, but it's not as good as it used to be. But I'm hoping for season 8, because I can't imagine waking up and not looking forward for another episode 🙂
Gossip Girl is on for another season, and this season finale is going to be BIG! Blair and Chuch on Empire State Building, yes or no? Will Nate cheat Serena with Jenny, or he'll come to his right senses. What will happen with Serena and Dan? Nothing, I hope.
The Big Bang Theory is also on for another season, and it's in Semptember of 2010.

Can't believe you missed out 24! 😉 It ends for good this month.

It's one of the most influencial TV shows of the modern era and utterly addictive. Sure, it's had its ups and downs (Season 2 and Season 5 being my favourites) but Jack Bauer is one of the greatest hero's the small screen has ever seen.

I have high hopes now that they're planning a big budget movie version.

Also, I'm a massive LOST fan, but I think I'm going to end up being disappointed.

One Tree Hill! I've been rallying hard for our Season 8 and I'm praying we get a another season. I'm probably in the minority, but I love OTH as much as I always have 😀

LOST. I'm so looking forward to the end. I'm not sure if I'm sad that it's ending though. I'm kind of thankful that it is, because if it carried on there'd be more and more unanswered questions. I mean, the latest episode gave us a lot of answers but then some MORE questions! I want another season so we can get more answers, but I dunno if it's worth it.

Glee. I just love it because it makes me happy even if the episode wasn't that great. I'll definitely be watching next year.

I'll be watching HIMYM when it returns too. I'm so very excited for that.

Chuck and V have also been picked up. I still need to get caught up with both shows. I stopped watching V when it came back in April or whenever it was, and I've only watched 4 episodes of Chuck season 3 so far. But I'll be watching them when they come back!

As for the others I'm pleased with TBBT and How I met your mother, the others I'm not too caring of. (I'm just a bit pissed that shows like Dollhouse gets canceled while shows like Smallville gets to go on forever)

Yep, I'm not hoping for romance. They'll give that to us when they decide to finish the show for good. But I think he'll stop her with his kind words 🙂 But I don't think she'll leave, there is no word of Emily leaving Bones :/

Jack Bauer is without question one of the best characters in television history.

24 is so good that near enough everything else i watch doesn't satisfy me anymore.

24, Prison Break and Buffy, all addictive and all consistently brillant.

I'm only really interested in whether or not One Tree Hill gets renewed. I haven't been as enthusiastic this season (I've not even watched all of it, just followed it with the intention of catching up in the summer). There's a wild rumour that the CW may be considering renewing both OTH and Life UnExpected each for 12 episodes. I think that's what I'd actually like to happen for OTH. I think it's ran its course now and would love for Mark Schwahn to have the opportunity to round the whole series of in that way. It's my favourite show ever and I so desperately don't want to see it run itself into the ground.

Man, I really need to see 24, lol. So many people that I know absolutely rave about it.

All of the other shows I've been watching I've either missed some and am now in a pit on confusion with them (Flashforward) or I enjoy them but not got a feeling of urgency with them (Glee).

My brothers told me about 24 years ago but for whatever reason i never watched it. Then at Christmas my brother bought me the first 2 seasons and all i can say is the show is just fantastic.

I watched the first season in less than 2 days, that's how addictive and brillant it is. The story is so gripping and it is a different league to the shows on television at the moment, that's my opinion of course.

It is similar to Prison Break in terms of not allowing you to stop watching. I'll watch several episodes in 24 and say to myself, right after this episode i'am going to have a break. Then something would happen at the end which would force me to carry on watching.

Unlike Heroes, 24 is consistently good. If you haven't seen it then all i can say is set some time free because once you start it is extremely hard to stop watching.

Yeah my brother's been on at me for years too. He's got them all on DVD so I think I'll try and borrow them from him. I definitely watched the first few episodes because I remember it originally airing in the UK on BBC2 at the same time as the last season of The X-Files and they were played back to back so I used to record them both. But anyway, yes, I will set aside some time in the summer.

Alias was the last show I completely raced through, like the whole series in a couple of weeks, whilst working full time, lol, so I'd love to have another show that grips me like that.

That's the problem when one show is so good. You start watching another show and it might be good but because it doesn't grip you in the same way then eventually you lose interest.

I've been watching Flashforward and don't get me wrong it is quite good but there's nothing special about it. I'am not itching to watch the next episode, i think that's what singles the great shows from the rest.

With 24 and Prison Break i couldn't stop watching because every episode was of such a high quality. Heroes was like that in the first season but by season 3 it had lost its way. That's why i love Prison Break and 24 so much, they managed to maintain a high quality throughout. Sure 24 wasn't as good in season 6 but it never lost its way like Heroes has. Hence why 24 has been running for so long.

To get back on point, i am sure you will love 24. Try Prison Break too if you haven't seen it. First two seasons of that are amazing and the other two are nearly just as good.

The only shows I'm following at the moment are Glee and Doctor Who. Both have a few episodes to go til the end of the season.

I'm looking forward to the next season of True Blood.

Honestly, I don't watch that many shows as they air. I tend to buy the DVDs and do big marathons where I live-eat-sleep the show (like I did with Buffy a couple of years ago.)

I'm watching Battlestar Galactica right now and seriously loving it. Watched up to halfway through season three since last weekend. 😀 A show hasn't hooked me this much since BtVS.

Glee is just an all round feel-good show, I finish watching every episode with a big smile on my face, lol.

I can't karma you again BUT I seriously advise you to try Alias. It has an amazing story line and the cast are all awesome. It has a ton of amazing guest stars too: Tarantino, Roger Moore, Christian Slater, to name a few. If you want a show that grips you, I'd seriously recommend it. It took me ages to get my brother to watch it but eventually he did and he loved it too.
It is absolutely one of my favourite shows ever!

Yeah, I was one of the people who had a doubt on Alias. Now it's my second favorite series ever(The first is BtVS/Ats, of course). I watched the whole series in a month and a half. And to add what Flannen mentioned, there's other things I love about Alias so much. They always go to many places in the world and speak many languages. And the background music is the best. I think it's cool. 😉

Alias is about a woman named Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) who's a kick ass special agent/spy who works for SD6 which is a branch organisation of the CIA. She's like totally undercover, her friends think she works at a bank.

It's a great show for the spy/action side of things and it also has a storyline that reaches across the whole series, think Da Vinci and the Da Vinci Code, but better! lol And like I said, great characters and character interaction, great dialogue and honestly the best end of season cliff hangers ever. I'm so glad I watched it once they'd all be aired so I didn't have to wait.

One thing I will say, the pilot is poor in comparison to the rest. I actually didn't watch the pilot until I'd finished the whole show. Everything crucial that happens in it is explained in the episode intros anyway. But it only takes an ep or two to really get going. But I don't want to give anything else away.

There's 5 series in total. It finished a few years ago.

I haven't got round to watching The Vampire Diaries yet. But it's written by Kevin Williamson who is awesome! From what I've read it's been received really well. I think it attracted the most viewers for its network since like 2006 or something and they were given a second season months ago, so it sounds promising. 🙂

I've got loads of time in the Summer so i'll probably give Vampire Diaries a go aswell.

I forgot to mention that i'am also watching V at the moment. It is early days in terms of the series but it is an interesting concept. Too early to comment too much on it but it is on the SYFY channel so check it out if you have time :smile3:

I'll think i'll give Alias a try after your glowing recommendation :smile3: I'll let you know how i find it and you let me know what you think of 24 :smile3:
