TV Shows That Were Cancelled Too Soon

But Gunn and Wes dies in Not Fade Away, with a season 6, Joss probably wouldn't have killed them then.
Well, then you have to go even further back and say that anything that happened AFTER Whedon found out it was canceled might not have happened; that would include Fred and if I'm not mistaken Cordy dying, etc. So who knows what it would have been. I just assumed when people said another season they meant from where Not Fade Away left off.

Ah, maybe they did. I didn't, because there's no way to continue after Not Fade Away, like you pointed out. Obviously there's a continuation in the comics, but LA sucked into hell probably wouldn't have made for great TV. However, if I recall correctly, there was still ghost Wesley, so Wes could've hung around still.

Galavant!!!

Also agreed with Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me and Selfie.

oh and Veronica Mars! And I was also bitter about Everwood at the time, though it still managed to have 4 seasons and end in a satisfying way so I guess I can't complain too much.

Galavant was such a fun and pleasant show, I miss it!
The ones I was most sad about were
- Firefly - I watched it after it was off the air but was sad there wasn't more.
- Farscape - I shipped John and Aeryn. At least they had a miniseries afterwards to tie up some loose ends.
- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - I shipped John and Cameron in this one. She was a female terminator sent back to protect John and was played by Summer Glau from Firefly.
- Caprica - I liked the storyline of how Zoe became the first Ceylon. I think the network became skittish though when they veered into religion and terrorism.
- Almost Human - Carl Urban and Michael Ealy were fun as partners. They had chemistry, but they didn't even get a second season.
- Warehouse 13 - Jane Espenson, who wrote Band Candy and a lot of other Buffy episodes, worked on this too. You can tell. I love her sense of humor. 🙂

Yay! Farscape! Actually, I shipped Aeryn and Larraq.♡
Has anyone ever heard of a little indie gem called Firefly???? 😛

...Other than that, Freaks and Geeks definitely comes to mind after Firefly does. In retrospect that show was loaded with star power.
