Twilight....I just thought.? Possible spoiler

I just read A beautiful sunset and I got the impression that the T-man could be Caleb? I mean when, he was kinda like "Just like a womken" and when Buffy tried to scythe him between the legs he said he knew that move.
Plus when we see his neck and chin, it's kinda like the once Caleb had.

Now I just want to hear you all if you think it's him.

I am kinda new in the comic session. After my first post I decided to try them, and A beautiful sunset was the first number I could get my hands on in english.

The First Evil might have posessed the power to somehow re-animate Caleb, so you may have something there. The only others who actually saw it were Angel and Spike, and they;re pretty much otherwise occupied.
 
You started with A Beautiful Sunset? Poor you D= That's the best issue, it just gets worse from that one
 
Yeah I thought that too, I don't know why I've pursued other theories, it just feels a little farfetched lol won't I feel stupid if it is Caleb lol

Something that has occurred to me: There was someone else who saw "that move" AND used the phrase "just like a woman." Angel. Now, in ATF, he states that Wolfram & Hart somehow stole his powers, making him human again. What if, instead of that, they divided him like Xander was split in "The Replacement," and they've it's Angelus under that mask. The long black coat would fit, and Angelus told Buffy that something she did in Season 2 was "just like a woman," and "(she) fell for it every time." Maybe I'm wrong, but Angelus sure seems to fit at least those clues.

That chin comment is very Angelus too. Also who else would have a bigger aversion to magic than Angelus? Three times magic has cursed him with a soul. If he was finally free of Angel then it would make perfect sense for him to try and end magic...anyone else a little excited at the thought of it being Angelus?
 
They could also tie Angelus in with the future vampires/lurks if he could somehow access either Illyria's dormant powers of time/space manipulation or Dawn's "key" powers. He could simply skip around the time of the Final Battle, then lay low for a couple of centuries just to make sure that the coast was completely clear of Slayers (he thinks) then start creating his new vampire army. It has "Angelus" written all over it.

We need to get Joss on the phone.

I would LOVE if it was Angelus...he jsut maes evrything so much more interesting...I think we could take this convo to the guess the big bad thread.
i think you guys may have broke into something here lol and here i was still in the Xander camp... but Angelus makes so much more sense. Oh and he could possibly have known that move because Angel saw Buffy kill Caleb this way in Chosen, and there's that whole thing that angelus was always still in him, seeing but surpressed. so yeah.
 
Yeah, maybe, maybe... I don't know if I'd like it though. I mean, he already was the villain (or one of them) in two seasons of the Buffyverse. Though I really like this character, I think it'd be kinda "been there, done that" already! I hope Joss will come up with something even better than that. Someone Buffy would be really sad having to kill : if it's Angelus only, independent of Angel, well, that's just bonus. Sides, we all know she can beat him up in no time. And see how she fights Twilight... Angelus would have gained some serious mojo...

Close, but Caleb is dead. Twilight is Spike. He was the only male to witness Buffy doing that move on Caleb. Angel was knock out cold.

CALEB
I was kind of hoping it'd go this way. (rears back with the scythe)

MAN (O.S.)
Hey! (punches Caleb, knocking him down)

Buffy looks up to see that it's Angel standing there having knocked Caleb down. Buffy swings the scythe at Caleb, slicing his stomach. He stumbles back, laughs heartily, wags his finger at her, and falls to the floor.

ANGEL
At least you could tell me you're glad to see me. (walks toward Buffy)

Buffy drops the scythe to the floor and walks up to Angel, pressing herself against his body and kisses him deeply on the lips.

Pan over to show Spike is in the tomb as well, hiding behind the pillar, watching them.

Caleb stands up behind Angel and knocks Angel down by hitting him with a cat statue, sending him across the floor. Caleb walks up to Buffy, black blood streaming from his eyes and nose.

CALEB
Are you ready to finish this, bitch?!

Caleb swings the cat statue at Buffy, but she blocks with the scythe and then falls to the ground. She swings at him with the scythe, but he blocks with the cat statue. Caleb knocks Buffy to the ground, then throws the cat statue at Buffy. Buffy stands, holding the scythe.

BUFFY
(breathing hard) OK...how many times do I have to kill you? Ballpark figure.

CALEB
You understand nothing.

Buffy swings at Caleb, but he grabs the scythe, holding it still, and punches Buffy in the face twice. He lifts Buffy in the air, pressing her back against the low ceiling. Buffy struggles, and Caleb finally lets her fall to the floor. He walks up to her slowly, then picks her up by her lapels.

CALEB
(through gritted teeth) You think you have power over me?

Buffy breaks free of his grip and kicks him, knocking him down to the floor.

CALEB
Stupid girl. (stands) You'll never stop me. You don't have the ba"”

While Caleb gets to his feet, Buffy twirls the scythe and swings it up between his legs. Caleb's eyes go wide.

ANGEL
(lying on the floor, regains consciousness and stands, angrily) OK, now I'm pissed. Where is he?

BUFFY
(looks to her right, then to her left, then at Angel) He had to split. (giggles devilishly)

ANGEL
I, uh, brought something else as well.

Angel takes an amulet out of his pocket and holds it up for Buffy to see. It's a 2-inch diameter round crystal pendant in a silver starburst setting hung from a coarse silver chain.

BUFFY
(shakes her head) I can already tell you, I have nothing that goes with that.

ANGEL
It's not for you.

BUFFY
Splainy?

ANGEL
I don't know everything. It's very powerful and probably very dangerous. It has a purifying power, a cleansing power, possibly scrubbing bubbles. The translation is, uh"”anyway, it bestows strength to the right person who wears it.

BUFFY
And the right person is?

ANGEL
Someone ensouled, but stronger than human. A champion. As in me.

BUFFY
Or me.

ANGEL
No. I don't know nearly enough about this to risk you wearing it. Besides, you got that real cool axe-thing going for you.

Spike walks out the back without being noticed.

Yeah... Caleb is dead.. and so was Warren.. .but oh, wait Warren came back. Caleb is also a possibility. Death isn't more than a word in the Buffyverse. You never stay dead for long

Warren was brought back by Amy, skinless. It very hard for Caleb to came back since Buffy split him in two. There would be two halfs walking...or hopping around. Meaning he can't be Twilight. Besides, Caleb don't have any remorse for Buffy. Twilight do.

"Do you know that I actually came here to talk?"

"I just hate to see you cry."

"I know that you meant well."

It totally Spike. The power of the amulet!
