Thought I'd start a thread as I'm just about to head out to get my exam results. I've been okay up until now but its so close now I want to get it over and done with, but my college is 18 miles away so lots of travelling to get them.

I hope everyone gets what they want etc etc etc. I'll post mind here in a few hours. Good luck!
 
Ahh poop...now Im all nervous and sweaty...

I have to wait till the 26th to find out that I got a 'U' in Maths...
 
Good luck to all you girls and boys in England and Wales (when do the Scots' results come out?) getting your results today. I've been there (a long time ago🙂) and I know it's a scary experience. I hope you all get what you need...
 
Yup, good luck. I'm sure you all have brilliant results. The Scottish results have already been sent out I think. 😀
 
Well got mine.

A- Eng Lang
B- Media and Sociology
C- Photography

Media I'm happy about because I got a D in my coursework so I must of done a really good exam. Plus my coursework for next year is an essay (about OMWF no less) and the exam is the same kind of thing so it should be okay, could get me an A. Would of liked an A in sociology but I never want to do it again so its being dropped and ignored. Photography kinda gutted but im going to work harder on it next year anyway so I can bring the grade up.

Cheers Jenny and elmo for the Karma. Just about to head out for a meal with the parents. They said I can go have a meal and I said "I fancy a chinese at..." (cant remember the restaurants name) and they said it was too expensive. Oh well.
 
you heartless *******. Faldor has to wait another week for his GNVQ results which is hte same as 3 A-levels or 5 GCSEs

oh well he can have his own thread at that time for he is more important then you mere mortals 😉

Well I'm not sure how the grades/years work over there...but I hope your week to be as quick and painless as possible.

Yes when you get your results you must make your own thread..the spotlight shall be on you!

Lol my mom gave me a drink earlier, drank most of it and felt a bit sick, then realised I had only eaten a rock cake all day.

Lol I'm English. I just say mom because logically it makes more sense as its derrived from mother. Well thats my excuse but in actual fact too much TV has led me into americanisations.
 
Got my detailed results back today, god those examiners are messed up in the head. (Nicer way of saying the f word)

For my Sociology Methods exam which is the hardest and the one that made me say "IM NOT DOING SOCIOLOGY NEXT YEAR" I got full marks. And for photography my best grade was for my personal investigation, which is clearly my worst.

Now I've got to think about if I want to do re-sits to boost up my grades a bit to ensure an A. Dont think I need to for English as I did well on that (got top marks for a paper on that as well) but for Media hmm dunno. I'll think about it.

Anyway good luck to those getting results next week, as I seem to be the only AS/A2 leveler here.
