UK members - Christmas help needed

Don't panic - it's not another charity appeal 😉

I may have imagined this but I'm sure I've seen a TV ad for a UK store selling DVDs as Buy One Get One Free (BOGOF) where they gave the specific example "buy Kill Bill pt 1 and get pt 2 free" (among others). This would be useful to me as both will be on my letter to Father Christmas and it might save a loved one a few quid 🙂

I know HMV have a BOGOF promotion running but I'm sure it only includes Kill Bill pt 1 - they have an "exclusive" boxed set of both btw - and Woolworths have a BOGO Half price promo, so neither of them is the mystery store with the ad described above. Has anyone else seen this ad or have I finally started seeing things and hearing voices?🙂? Please let me know if you have...

Well blow me down! I'm sure, when I checked earlier in the week, Volume 2 wasn't there. So, I'm not hearing and seeing things then - just unable to do a simple search...😉

Woah, DVD's are realy expencive over there. I work at Blockbuster state side and i can usualy grab the used ones as they come out for $12.99 - $14.99. Plus 20% discount for working there. Too bad about regions its almost worth it to ship them.

Thats why I buy R1 discs online. Because of the good exchange rate on the pound and dollar I tend to get them of half the price. Basically you would pay something in dollars, then cut it in half and its normally what I pay for it.
