Starfury Conventions Fusion is a Buffy Convention taking place at the Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool in May 2004

Exact dates are: Friday 30th April - Sunday 2nd May 2004

Guests announced so far are:

CLARE KRAMER
ELIZABETH ANNE-ALLEN

Tickets will be priced at £75 for adults and £30 for 14 and under, with 7 and under free.

This event has a maximum 2000 tickets available

Please note that ticket sales re-start from Monday 2nd June at 10am. Please DO NOT call the organiser before this date.

To purchase tickets please keep an eye on the official website at http://www.starfury.co.uk if you *do* have any questions please post them on the message board and egroup that you can access from the Starfury frontpage.

Judging by the convention that took place earlier this month - the only way to enjoy the complete weekend is to travel up on Thursday and return on the Monday - thus missing no parties, nor the blackpool rain 😉

I definately want to go to this one, really dissapointed I missed out on this years, so I will save up like mad I really like Claire Kramer and I hope Andy Hallett is going and does anyone know how far in advance do you have to get your tickets in case of them selling out.
 
It would be doubtful that Andy would be at FUSION because it is only a BUFFY convention.

The ANGEL convention next year is Hyperion in the other thread

As for tickets selling out that would be up for you to decide how long you want to wait. This years event End of Days finally had 2500 people attending which only just had a handful of tickets on the day. FUSION is being cut back to 2000 attendees so that would be a few less.
 
Did you go to the End of Days one this year??? Coz i was ther and it was brill, am saving up for next year
 
Yeah I went to End of Days but it had too many people to have the same impact as normal sized Starfury conventions.

There were too many hundreds of camera happy people trying to get too close to the stage in the evening and crowding the dancefloor. Not something I've experienced before - it all seemed a bit rude really.

If I can afford Fusion next year I will try giving it another go as I'm hoping Sean gets guests that haven't appeared much in the UK before.

I'm already booked for Hyperion though 🙂

I'm going too!! I agree with Samphirette, the smaller cons are much more personal and theres not as many camera happy people lol. EoD was great though there was so many people there...Hopefully Fusion will be the same!
