We cant really answer that question at the moment, since it has not aired anywhere yet. I hope it does, if there is enough interest then it will.
 
I'd love it if it was....that would be very cool. I'll be more than likely following on the net if it doesn't anyway. *Crosses fingers* Anything with Eliza in has just GOT to be good.
 
Well I wouldn't be surprised if Sky picked it up, what with the gaping hole in their schedule left by Buffy now. The only terrestrial channel I can see possibly showing it would be Channel 5; they tend to pick up shows like this and already show Dark Angel and Charmed. Smallville currently occupies Sunday teatime status on Channel 4. I can't see BBC2 opting for this show, namely because they've only just got to the end of Season 6 of Buffy so I'm assuming their schedule is booked up for Season 7 in the future.

It would be good to see it over here though; I'm really interested to know how the show itself will work out as a whole.

Some British tv execs from BSkyB were rather disappointed with the crop of new pilots, especially since all the CSI rip-off type shows.

Sky is owned by Fox and Buffy does huge in the ratings for them. Loosing Buffy next year for Sky is would be like NBC loosing Friends.

I believe shows like crime dramas like CSI & Crossing Jordan that are similar to Tru Calling aren't very popular in Europe. So maybe Sky isn't very happy with replacing Buffy with a show that's a crime drama show that might not do too well over in Europe.

But has anyone heard if any foreign networks did buy Tru Calling after the LA Screenings?
 
When the show airs in the States and does well, all us UK peeps can send requests to Sky One for them to show it here. Sky One always e-mails you back within a month or so, stating their opinions on the situation, they're very helpful.

I really hope UK picks up Tru Calling. If it does I would guess we would have to wait a while as we always seem to wait when US shows are concerned
 
Well, I've just e-mailed them, I wrote some long ass speech lol. We need a lot of people e-mailing them though, not just like ten.

After Buffy finishes, Sky One are going to loose a lot of viewers, so they're going to want anything to bring the ratings back up.
We should all just e-mail them and tell them about Tru Calling, hoping they will be interested.

I hope it does come to the UK. It's my only other hope of finding a new obsession after Buffy. (Angel being my other)
 
I really hope it does end up being shown in the UK!! Ah then i'd be able to get my Eliza fix at least once each week! 😀😀
 
I hope to god it doesn't get picked up by Channel 4.

It'd end up hacked to pieces and shown at 6.30pm or relegated to a midnight slot, then get panned as a ratings disaster.

And I agree. Channel 4 aren't what they used to be. And now Angel's gone to Channel 5, I fear the worst for any new programme that might wing its way over here...
