I used to go on that site, I remember the David interview aswell. I can't remember what my name was over there. How long ago did that close down? It's seems like a long time ago.

I was a member of BuffyUk too, where I went by the name of 'kissingtoast' - feels like such a long time ago too! It is funny how the term Yukkers has kind of stuck though.

I also remember the infamous space_duck too, and I swear I sometimes see a few of his feathers around here! *cough*

Trying not to be too biased here, but I still think this is *the* best Buffy/Angel board around, I mean alot of other boards are filled with spam, or they have clique's etc I don't feel that this board has any of those problems. We're just a big friendly community, no matter where we come from!
 
Except for one particular individual that is, who from time to time, suck out the blood from underneath our nails (dutch expression)! ... Who I won't name now! Anyway these boards are very fun to hang-out!

Ahhh, now that would be telling! There are many things that can be said about the 'duck' but I think the previously feathered one would be best to answer that question.😉

LMAO...He's also Head Mod Ally. And my previous fiance ( did we ever actually break it off honey?) His main things on Buk were constantly talking in the third person, and harassing sweet, innocent young girls 😉 If he tells you I encouraged him do not believe it.....

Admin is the highest ranking, effectively that is Buffy Summers and Faith, Head Mod is an intermediary between moderators and admin, and moderators are listed either at the top of the forum page (This forum is moderated by _____ ) or at the end when you look at the forums home page; on the very right hand side. Hope that helps 🙂
 
You can also view the staff by clicking on the Forum Leaders link, on the main Page, on the bottom right hand side I think.🙂 It's the same on most vBulletin posting boards.

But what about the creation of this forum, who's responsible for that? And what's the "Old Buffy-Boards Username" mean, is this like a sequel to the Buffy-UK you were talking about?
 
She was only trying to be helpful allycat. And actually Anya and Wesley have technically stepped down to spend more time with their family.

Xander Harris and I originally set up these forums, with the help of Faith.

We're not related to BuffyUK, though a lot of people from there are here.

Xander, Faith, Anya, Wesley and I were admins at another Buffy board. So we put that so everyone could remember each other.
 
Quite basically there's a history of buffy boards, previous ones closed, and originally members from those closed boards came here, and so it was easiest to have both old and new usernames, so those who had changed names could be recognised. This board has naturally evolved from there so that most members don't know the origins of the board. And yes as you pointed out Allycat, Anya and Wesley are technically admin, but as they're expecting their fifth child (and yes as Anya's sig puts it "i'm expecting our fifth child, and people tell me I look so normal" 😀 ) It's simply part of the boards; we all lead very busy lives, such as I have just started university, we all have our other, every day life things to do, as well as this 🙂

Thanks for the updates on the Boards history, it was interesting to read, but unlike you I don't have a life other to B/A and these boards 😉
