There is a street party round my mums on the Sunday though. I shall show up, enjoy the food and drinks, and keep my opinion about monarchy to myself for the afternoon.

Oh God, I'd LOVE to be there. Not only is it an historical event, I absolutely adore the Queen. The only Royals I care about are her, William, Kate, Princess Alexandra...and Harry.

Besides, if I DID fly over there I could stay with @nightshade, steal her Legos, and eat all of her food.

One day, I'd really like to. And I'd REALLY like to visit Bluebird...I haven't been to Scotland in YEARS. She's so tiny I'd tower over her, and that would be hilarious. But I still understand Glaswegian, so that's a plus!

Yup we are forecast rain/thunderstorms form tonight, tomorrow night all through Sunday!! Thankfully we did our gathering this afternoon!

I’m lucky enough to be on the flight path so got to witness the aircraft in the garden! It was incredible!

It's weird to think the next big royal event is likely to be the Queens funeral.

We certainly won't have another long reigning monarch for a while, Charles being in his 70s now and William turning 40 this month.

I might watch some films tomorrow as well, I've got The Queen (Helen Mirren one) and The Kings Speech, anyone seen either?
