Ultimate ships

Who is meant to be with who? This isn't simply in terms of actual romantic relationships that occurred on both shows and in the comics,but also those "ships" that never quite happened or never even came close to be hinted at. In short,if we have to pair each character off with someone then who is the "right" person for that character. Note: The rules of life and death do not apply here,in other words lets "pretend" no one died in the verse story just for the sake of this question. 😛

For me its the following:

Anya and Spike
Wesley and Fred
Tara and Willow
Cordy and Angel
Buffy and Xander
Conner and Dawn
Faith and Lilah ( a man can dream cant he? 😀 )
Gunn and Anne
Giles and Jenny
Illyria and Doyle (their demon spawns would be so darn adorable 😛 )
And finally "files and records" girl and Lorne(I know that's an obscure reference,but I just love that woman 😀 )

Connor and Dawn is definitely a ship that should be developed, if only as a short term thing.

And I think that Spike/Faith would be very interesting, especially if it were done as Faith's first real romantic, as opposed to strictly sexual, relationship.

Spike/ Illyria- Spike and her had real chemistry!
Willow/Oz- also ended too quickly.
Buffy/Faith- the chosen two, the only slayers worth a damn. Enough said.😛
