Anyone here seen this yet? I think its pretty weird. So glad they got Alyson Hannigan to play Willow...
 
Yeah,I posted it a couple of months ago in Willow's forum....it was strange.I think Aly portrayed Willow better than the other girl did
 
I haven't seen it, were did you see it? Is it in the box set of season six, and if so it isn't out yet!?
 
The unaired pilot was never aired or released by Fox, however, you can hunt a copy of it down several places on the internet. Try e-bay and other places like that.
 
I watched it, glad they got a new willow, the willow in the orignal pilot just made willow a geek and nothing more. She didnt look like she had the comedy side of things and with her Willow was more Taraish with the whole shy thing, and ofcourse Willow probably wouldnt have turned lesbian/bisexual if they had the same actress. No leather clad Vamp Willow, no Dark Willow, a lot of things wouldve changed.

But the pilot was still weird, Darla died orignally, the vampires turned into sugar after being killed, Buffy wasnt blonde, no Joyce, no Angel, loved the library though. Dont know why they didnt keep that. Buffy meets Xander outside, infact meets about everyone outside. Different Principle Flutie, even Jonothan was in the unaired pilot whichis funny IMO.
 
Hmmm... I had no idea there was an original pilot without Alyson as Willow. I'll have to look into that. Kinda sounds like Charmed in a sence, that the orignal pilot had a different actress for Pheobe, and then Alyssa Milano joined. But yeah, back to Buffy talk.

Anyone know where I can find a clip or something at least of the original pilot?
 
I have this on my computer...it was so awful, but I think I've watched it like 7 times anyway...the vampire dustings were so pathetic they were funny...
