Underworld: Coming This Fall

The way she jumped off a skyscraper, landed, and started walking away casually really captured my imagination. Can't express why, exactly.

The script has been getting good reviews and the film is currently set for September 19th. The trailer can be found at the official site www.entertheunderworld.com. Here are two reviews:

Film Review From ACIN:
"At this stage the [werewolf] transformations looked pretty cheesy and lots of post production is needed (especially the Werewolves!!). They were still plenty of scenes where you can see all the wires attached to the actors!! But overall the movie kicks ass, I think Len Weisman is going to have future in film. Genre fans can start getting excited for Underworld!!!"

Scipt Review From Dark Horizons:
"There are lots of twists and turns and double and triple crosses in a most interesting screenplay. It does become a bit tricky to keep track of all the players after awhile. Practically every single vampire minion is identified by name. The vampires are also clearly the "good guys" if there is such a thing. It's very dark and the most is brooding and sad. I would have liked to have gotten more into moments where Selene seems to tap into her lost humanity and I think the ending is a little to nice and neat (aside from the all the blood). While there's a resolution, it doesn't seem to be final and in a story like this, I think you most definitely need one. It's open for a sequel but I feel that that was unnecessary. Bottom line: smart sleek sexy and bloody!!!"
 
Yeah, I read a preview of it in SFX magazine a few months back. It looks pretty cool style wise and the plotline is an interesting concept, although not totally original. Kate Beckinsale stars in it if i remember rightly and she is a pretty cool actress.
I'll definetly be checking it out when it's released.
 
I'm actually looking forward to seeing this movie. Well to me it sounds really interesting. Oh and plus the fact that Scott Speedman's in it. He's a major hottie. After only seeing him in the movie 'Dark Blue' and the tv show 'Felicity' I've been waiting to see what else he's been up to. Can't wait! 😉
