Unlocking Memories

Did you ever have a memory that you couldn't remember? You knew it happened, but you just couldn't remember it? Were you ever sitting somewhere and a certain thing like smell or taste unlocked that memory and you could remember it again?

That happened to me yesterday. One of my Uncle's aren't aloud in my house for some reason and we were talking about being drunk yesterday during English 2 (we're reading Twelth Night) and then I remembered. It was really weird.

Yeah, I have done that alot. One time, I was with my friend, and then she said somthing, and then I remembered something that happened a long time ago.

Me and two friends went to the cinema last night (The Grudge, woo!) and there was a trailer for a film. Me and a friend turned to each other and said "that looks cool". Later when we were having a curry we couldn't remember ANYTHING about it, the other trailers we could but nothing about it.

Then later that night when I got home I suddenly remembered, ironic thing was, the film was called "The Forgotten"

hah, that happens to me all the time. Usually its like I get a dream mixed up w/ reality, and I can't remember which is which...Usually I just forget to remember what I forgot...lol

Yep, it's happens to me too, & I find it mostly fun, most of the time the memories come back coz of scents & smells, they have such a power to make me remember some things I had totally forgot.
Except once, it was a very bad one & that was like 'how could I forget such a thing !' Then it's like, 'well, maybe my problems in this or that comes from that time', & 'why & how the hell my brain locked this memory for so long & so on...'
