To be honest I never really considered Lornes sexuality to have much to do with him as a character. If I was forced to say, I would say bi-sexual.
His ideal partner would be Captain Jack Harkness from Torchwood/Dr Who for sure!
And, getting back to the original topic, I never thought of the love Lorne had for Fred as a romantic interest. It was definitely a respectful, family like love in my opinion.
