Well almost I cannot solve this puzzle, its on the channel on sky called the great british quiz and here it goes:

The house was bought in nineteen sixty-nine for a tidy sum. Now thirty-six years later it was worth four more times as much puzzle.

Add all the numbers

What doe they come to; so far I have had:
A. 0
B. 2217
C. 248
D. 2004
E. 2208
F. 46
G 2196

So far the quiz has said the ones with an X next to them are wrong the rest I am unsure about, please help, its driving me insane, literally!!!

i dont get it...i got 2009.

or 35...1+9+6+9+3+6+4?

ack...what the heck? :dork:

could it mean add the years together, then add 4?

if so, then it could be
1969
+2005
4

which would make the answer...3978

but i could be wrong!

in fact, i probably am!!

You might be right, but I'm not sure I heard the last answer but was half asleep and it definetly started with a three
