I decided to open up the boards as they are now useable - however I am still working on adding back the color schemes and fixing the poll.

There will be additional features as well, but please bear with us. We'll post about everything when we're done. Thanks!

I love everything so far, but I can't do the quick reply anymore ::huh1::
 
Are you activating it first by clicking on the icon next to the small reply button in the last persons post? If not click on it and it will then activate the quick reply and you will be able to post using it. 🙂
 
The quick reply still works if you look at the buttons at the bottom of the post i.e. edit and the reply you'll see another icon next to it like another piece of paper, if you click on that it will activate the quick reply box. 🙂

If your still having problems let me know.

Perhaps one of you could start a thread to explain all the new features? Like "reputation" and such!
 
Well the board looks great, very new. And we have reputions now somewhat yay, its where members can rate your post, if they agree or dissagree, it will add to your little green gem next to your posts.

As I said in my post, we will post about the features once the upgrade is complete.
 
I have a couple of questions about the upgrade that may not be covered in the post about new features.

In posts I have made I can no longer see what sex I am😉 although this appears in other members' posts - how do I activate this? Not that I'm insecure about my gender but others may want to know...Similarly for skins - other posts show who uses which theme but I can't see it in my posts... scratch that point about skins - it just appeared

Other than that the upgrade looks good but it's taking me a while to find my way around (I'm quite old you know...Pointy 0 - Dementia 1). I'm guessing my other questions about "What is the deal with "reputations"?" and PM message tracking will be dealt with in "The Post"...

Thanks for your efforts - we do appreciate them even though it sometimes doesn't seem like we do.
 
I'm still adding all the stuff - like I needed to add the rest of the color schemes so they would show up. You probably need to go into your profile and reselect your gender as its done a bit differently now.

Just one question whats with my cat?? does its health etc go up the more i post???
 
What do you mean Foi? Is the boards loading slowly for you or something? As i'm on dialup and its fine with me.
 
it just took a long time to upload being back for the first time since you all upgraded....
seems to be reasonably ok at the moment🙂 cheers for asking hun🙂
 
The layout is exactly the same. If anything it should load faster because of cleaner code and reduced signature images.
