Hey, whats up? I have been watching our favorite show in the states. I don't like how UPN is packaging this program. The commercials that were done in the beginning of the season didn't fit the theme of the episode. Its like the network has no idea how to promote their shows at all. What do you think?
 
I noticed that too, especially the second ep, I think, where it seemed to be all about Buffy being at the school but it turned out to be mostly about Spike. I guess even the last episode was less SIT-centric than the promos made it out to be. I don't know what can be done about it though, or if it's worth raising a stink about.
 
I don't think anyone there actually watches it most of the time. They just pick out random scenes and try to guess what they are about. Its really annoying!
 
You mean you never seen 'em ... because you can watch them on www.Buffy.com ... the official UPN site. It's pretty lame, why doesn't Joss pick out the scenes?
 
Yeah, when I saw a trailer for "Bring on the Night", they made it seem all Christmas-y & funny instead of a serious episode.

But, TheRipper69, were you talking about commercials or trailers for the show?
 
I was thinking the same, but since I don't watch UPN, I didn't know for sure, but they do that in holland as well! Though Bring on the Night, was pretty well done, I can live with it!

No, I'm not talking about commercials for the show (trailers); I'm talking about commericals as in for products. You know, commercial breaks. I guess he obviously is talking about trailers; I was just thrown when he used the word 'commercial'.
 
i really miss buffy in the theWB also...the trailer was so nicely made...with the logo suddenly coming out....
anyway what is the Logo Font that theWB use for the Buffy Trailer?
 
Yeah, I have noticed. The are trying to orient it more towards children it seems. Last season the trailers were fine and appropriate (OMWF's was excellent) and it was still on the UPN, I don't know why they had the sudden change of heart with them.
