USA and CHINA = Was Joss Right?

In Firefly/Serenity a lot of Chinese was used as they were said to be the other superpower in the world.
Could something like what is happening at the moment in USA cause China to be a super power.
Has Joss unknowingly revealed he can fortell the future?

I always thought the theme with China/Chinese in Firefly was because the vast population in China, surely as time goes on.. more and more people will have Chinese roots and therfore, yes, I think in the future they will be THE superpower.

It has been common knowledge for nearly a decade that China is gaining momentum and set to rival the States as a superpower. Joss doesn't have prescience, he has the ability to read and follow current affairs.

Hell frickin frakin yes... theres no reason to question this imo... anyone with any sense should know this, im just glad Joss had the sense to put this in firefly.
