Is this knife used in buffy, because it is on sale on eBay saying 'Inspired from the knife seen on the Buffy', if it is like one on buffy wat season and ep????

Anya was not selling an item, she was asking a question about an item that was for sale.

So posting a link to an Amazon.com page that has Buffy books/dvds on it is against the rules?

That is messed up.

£6 is a bargain, as I have been into weaponry type shops and they sell quite a bit of Buffy replicas and they are quite expensive.

That's not what the rules say at all. This portion of the FAQ states that you aren't allowed to post here selling your OWN items.

As for the knife, it doesn't look like the same knife to me. I remember when they had the big props sale after the show ended, they had copies of Faith's knife (used in the actual show) and it didn't look like that.

It's still neat though.
 
I just got my new forbiddin planet mag and its got the season 7 axe from chosen it looks amazing, £150 tho! bummer!

p.s. got my knife and its great love it worth £6! lol
 
You've got me curious though Anya. What have you done with your knife? Is it in a display case, or do you go patrolling? lol

On the scythe thing. I remember reading lots of interesting stuff on those replica's when they started appearing. Apparently the original scythe wasn't made of metal. Which makes sense of course, because SMG couldn't twirl it around if it was.

I remember at one time there was this guy making metal versions himself, one at a time, and auctioning them on ebay. Then I'm not sure, but didn't some company get endorsed as the official manufacturer, or something like that?

I forget what happened to the original scythes. Weren't there a couple of them. Didn't Joss keep one?
 
coolie. the replica of the sword of angelus looks awesome. i never knew of its intricate details. pretty.
 
Hmm, looks cool, but I don't think its identical to the Faith one. I'm sure it was much straighter, although i'm not too sure...
 
Yeah, I don't think that it is identical either, but it is very similar.
 
The knife that Faith uses is Jackal. Just search for 'Mad Jackal' on ebay and there's loads, if you search for 'Faith Knife' you'll end up paying £30 for the wrong thing. I got mine for less than £15 (just over $20)

Oh and they come in copper and brass, Faith's is copper (I made that mistake first time but I resold it for more :smile2: )
