Ok, if you didnt know already, Im a useless facts FREAK! I love them! My fave useless facts are that of the body and animals.

John Doe, a term often used to describe the unknown. There is a John Doe down your street, in your school, and wherever you go. Often times it is difficult to escape John Doe. But, perhaps that is because John Doe is everyone around you, the unknown. Dealing with John Doe on a daily basis can be difficult, because often John Doe experiences emotions just like us. John Doe breathes, blinks, and smiles, just like us. The strange thing is how often we do not notice John Doe. Even though wherever you look there is John Doe, noticing John Doe would in fact no longer make him a John Doe. Perhaps the most frightening experience in life is when you meet John Doe, and realize, he is no longer John Doe.

The moment the mirage of John Doe fades before your eyes you are left with the image of a person. A person standing before you that has feelings, emotions, and a mind. When you close that gap from anonymity to known you leap across a bridge a thousand times larger than your imagination. The bridge is so wide and long that returning to John Doe is an impossible task, and one that can never be attempted. Once you have jumped that bridge, looking back is useless. For when looking back you can see nothing, and when you look forward you are faced with someone. That someone is unique, and special in certain ways. Just as you are. A whole new map lies before you, and you are just beginning to explore it.

Being that John Doe has faded into our past sub-conscious and we are left with a living breathing person. A number of options exist. Should we approach this individual, should we converse with them? If we approach them, how should we walk, and how should we talk. When we converse with them should we smile, or should we grin? The amount of actions available in communication are endless. Once a meeting of sorts, and communication takes place we are left with a taste in our mouth. Sometimes that taste is sweet, other times it is sour. That taste determines the way we view this individual, and no longer are they a John Doe. In fact they become an identity, someone you are able to recognize. Like a pair of Kangaroos in a field of Puma's, they are something with individuality. Now perhaps the most daunting task any human being in society faces. When John Doe has disappeared, and we have aquatinted ourselves with the individual, we then slowly walk the road to "understanding."

Understanding one another is very difficult. At the beginning we had never expected to understand John Doe, in fact, we could care less about him. Now John Doe is no more, and we are left with a identity. A blurred identity it is, not able to be fixed by any amount of perception. Time is the only thing that leads to understanding, and over time the blurred identity becomes clear. As it clears, slowly we see things we never wanted to see. We see things that amaze us, enchant us. We see things strange and dark. Yet all of these things combined create a clearer picture of that individual. When the image is finally clear, we have reached a mutual understanding. However, a clear image is never possible. For there are limits that no one willingly will cross. Those limits while hinder us from true understanding protect us from aspects we cannot bear.

And, in the end, this entire process is repeated hundreds of times throughout our lives. For there are many, many John Does. There are bad ones, there are good ones, and there are strange ones. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all individuals. Sadly, time limits us to understand each person in society. Time however, does allow us to get to know a few, very, very well. Those few are never forgotten, and that is one thing that not even time can take away.

I think that that one is soooooo sad, when i first found that out i went really wierd and was saying how unfair it was on the poor elephant. Imagine it standing outside trying to get a leaf really high up and all it needs to do is jump to get it and it can't. ::crying2:

I think my friends got a little sick of me.

6. the wb has become very fond of using promo names on eps of charmed. and in s3 and s4, they had only two promo titles eps 3x04, 3x15, 4x04 and 4x15.

7.ep nr 15 of s3 and s4 of charmed where wedding eps. 3x15 was piper and leos wedding. 4x15 was pheobe and coles wedding!

8. buffy the vamp show had two eps air at the same date, but different years: eps the puppet show 1x09(aired 05.05.97), and go fish 2x20(05.05.98).

9. step by step, everwood and charmed has also had air on 05.05. everwood: episode 20 1x21 aired 05.05.03 Charmed: out of sight 1x19 05.05.99 and Step by step: advendures in babysitting 4x22 aired 05.05.95...

You should try the Urban Legends Reference Site to see which of the useless facts are actually true. You'd be surprised how many things that you "know" are just urban legends including. I think, some quoted above
