User CP suggestion

I think it would be pretty cool if we had visitor messages like when people view/visit your profile, they could leave messages. I mean I guess it would be almost the same as sending a PM.

It would be almost the same thing as a PM except others could see it which would be really cool. Like if you just want to say hey to someone, you can do that and others can see it... like a wall on facebook.

Right. Or if you didn't mind saying something on the visitor message that everyone else could see.
 
I would love to have VM's on this site, Id also like to see some more Avatars to chose from (especaily Anya😀)

I need to karma someone I've already karma'd so have some free karma so I can rep them :)
We used to have these and they were great fun, but they caused some problems with bullying and cliques and gossiping and had to be deactivated. Would be nice if we could get it back though that's for sure! They were great for just posting random messages.

I didn't know that we use to have them because I'm still pretty new here. But that stinks that the visitor messages were deactivated because of those problems.

That's what I thought. That they'd be great for random messages.
 
We had them on a couple other boards I was on. They were really fun to have crazy conversations on, I agree. Bex and I had the most awesome Final Fantasy comparison once. XD

I want them so bad now that I remembered that.
 
The visitor messages on profiles were awesome, but it got ugly 'cause people didn't seem to care that other people could see what they wrote, and they would write these conversations out about other members and stuff. It was bad.
 
They were great fun. I didnt know they got removed for bullying though. Must have missed that.

I don't understand why you would do that. Unless it's something nice, why would you want someone to know you dislike them? The only reason I can come up with is you like/want to cause trouble. And that's just not cool at all.

There's a lot of things that people do that you might not understand. I don't think many if any did it on purpose, just spoke their mind/feelings while talking to friends. I guess there was some direct bullying/mean comments as well but they could have been sent in pm's. But sure, there were people that didn't mind causing a stirr for fun. The staff decided to take the vm's away and I support them in their decision even if I at times miss them.
Even if in the beginning when I was chatting away with lots of people I had to make myself invicible since I otherwise didn't have time to read posts... 😉

And that is exactly the problems we were having, which is why the visitor messages are a privilege that was taken away.
 
They're gone!?!?! But my messages 🙁

I had no idea we didn't have them anymore. I need to stop by more often. I haven't even changed my Happy New's Year sig yet.
