Valentines Day Problem (Both gender responses needed)

I went valentines day shopping for Stephanie, Stephanie, Nick, and Hannah. I got them everything no problem. Then one of my friends, Jessica tells me she got me 2 gold chains for valentines day. I was like, ok, I have to get her something. As a guy I feel I can't be cheap and get her nothing, seeing how she got me such an expensive gift. But...yesterday she and my best friend got in a big fight and she ended up crying. Now I feel if I get Jessica something for valentines day, it's like saying I'm ok with her starting trouble with my friends.

Anyone have any advice? You guys usually do, so, HELP! Valentines day is in 2 days.

Dude, quite a mess you're in there! Exactly why i don't buy anyone gifts for valentine's except my boyfriend! Look, I say people shouldn't give to receive... but that's hard now that that person has told you they got you something! Maybe you should still get her something... your friend will understand I'm sure! Just a box of chocolates or something to say that you didn't forget them. Other people's fueds are not your own.
 
I should give her poison chocolate! Kill two birds with one stone! End the fued and solves the problem...
 
well get her a gift but talk to her tell her how you feel about the fight i mean your still her friend so why not give her the gift on the other hand your upset about the fight so tell her that all will go well in the end....
 
Theres nothing wrong with being cheap. If she did get you something, then get her something in return. If she didn't/won't, then simply dont as well.

I bought roses for a few guys (my friends) to mess around with them....
 
LOL Ana8....I think you should buy her something small and simple, but let them both know that what happened between her in your friend, while your not okay with it, is not your battle either.
 
Just give her her present, if you're friends are real friends, they won't mind. Jess and ur friend will prolly get over their fight sooner or later.
 
Well...we all made up today, seeing how our lives were in danger and we were forced to do stuff we never would have lol.

It's not Friday the 13[sup]th[/sup] is it?
 
I know tomorrow is Friday the 13th, but that doesn't have anything to do with it lol. OK, here we go.

There is this guy in our school, he's a senior and he's 18. He's raped atleast 3 people that we know of, but since there is no physical evidence and none of the girls wont talk, he gets off scot free. He told Jessica he wanted to take her down the stairwell at school, and of course we all know what he was going to do to her down there. So, she knows that I put my life on the line to help people, so she came to me. I'd meet her there and pretend to be the jealous boyfriend. Well, he led her down a different than we origionally thought, so I almost didn't get there in time. When I did, I grabbed her and was like "what the hell is this? are you cheating on me again" and I grabbed her roughly by the arm and pulled her down the hallway. She's going with the plan and coaching me like "ok, im gunna try to pull a way, drag me down the hallway". So, we did that and he started to get angry because I was taking away someone he wanted to do something too. We walked fast and when we turned a corner we ran out of sight, he was walking. We ran into the cafeteria and sat down and a few minutes later he came up to us and said "I'm going to kill you guys tomorrow. Watch your step because I'm gunna kill you the first chance I get". We told people what happened, and they've told us to go to the principal because this guy is 100% serious when he says that, and there is a 100% chance he is going to try to hurt us tomorrow. We can't go to the principal or the police because he'd be suspended, but then what would happen when he gets back? It would only make matters worse. Now he's been calling us nonstop all day telling us how we're gunna die tomorrow and what not. I don't know if I'd be able to fend him off, seeing how I might have torn things in my legs.

The things I do to help people...yeesh...
 
Now try not to take offense to this, but the story sounds a little outragous, but then again, Im not you, I dont know where you live or how you or the people around you grew up, so I shouldn't make judgements.

Now 99% of the time, these guys are big talkers and may/will hurt you, but wont kill you.
as for the 1%, thats for the real deranged, ****ed up people who you can't reach no matter what.

and by reaching I mean talking to, trying to calm down, have a civilized convo with them.

My best advice is to:
1. Tell as many people as you know that beleive you. (if it turns out to be a hoax, then at least you know your safe).
If it doesnt turn out the good way, and you do get hurt, then everyone will know who the suspect is. (bad wording, sorry).
2. Tell the police for sure and anyone else who may be able to help you defend yourself.
3. Get a pocketknife, marble, pepper spray, anything to defend yourself with.
4. If possible carry a cell phone to call for help.
5. Try not to go to school.
6. If ANYTHING happens, fight back as much as you can with control, if you lose it, then you lose fight/situation/yourself. (I hope you understand what Im trying to say).

Now I highly doubt this, but if he has a gun or weapon of some sort and your close enough to him. Stab his ass. If its a joke, then its his own fault for being such a dumbass. (sorry admins for my language, but I get enough **** like this at my own school and Im venting).

Hopefully nothing will happen and it turns out to be a joke, but me being such a paranoid, negative (situation wise), person, Im always prepared.

the very least you can do is play helpless and say your sorry, then run your ass off.

I plan on fighting back, and I can do a pretty good job at it too. It's just gunna be nerve racking not knowing when/if he's gunna do anything. Jessica said she's bringing pepper spray to school tomorrow.
