I just find it very funny that Angel and Spike always jealous of each other. Even as Angelus and William the Bloody. Then with Buffy. They seem to be very intimidated by each other. A little immature, they're like brothers (and I LOVE it!)

Do you think they have good reason to be jealous of each other? Do you find it funny or pathetic?

By the way, I think Buffy enjoys it 😀

I think it's hilarious! Because we get things like:

The angel doodle on Spike's punching bag.

The "I saved the world more than you" argument.

Buffy talking about Spike and Angel wrestling it out . . . and there could be oil involved.

Angel being all put out that Spike has a soul now.

These are all things that I love.
 
i think it adds some fairly light hearted banter into the mix that we might not get if it weren't for these two bickering 🙂
 
I don't think the jealously was pathetic, I thought it was hilarious. That was one of the reasons why Angel season 5 was so EPIC! Spike and Angel banter is, in my opinion, the best in the Buffyverse

Their jealousy made The girl in question hilarious. When Angels like ''but you wore a necklace'' i lmao. great comedy duo.
 
I think it's funny. I haven't seen much of Angel, but that scene in BtVS season 7, when Angel complains to Buffy that now everyone has a soul and that he started that trend, after which she asks him if he's twelve is hilarious :lol:
 
Spike and Angle's relationship has always been intresting, from rivalry, jealousy, and by the finale of Angel season 5 they considered themselves heroes and respected EACH OTHER. I loved their friendship

I remember when my dad complained about something stupid...I used the "What are you 12?" line....but I was 11 at the time haha so he said "Well, I'd still be older than you!" to which my mom replied, as she laughed hysterically, "Hahah! You really are 12!" My parents are quite mature.

Anyway, I loved the Spangel relationship 😉 probably my favorite thing about season 5.

their bromance is one of my fav releationships ever in a show.they were great together always,especially in season 5.
 
I love the Angel episode Soul Purpose, it kind of shows Angel's jealousy towards Spike's soul more. The scene where Spike saves the world and they sing to him and give him a cake and poor Angel bows his head all sad like and walks away was always funny to me. Poor lil' guy!
