I was watching Angel just recently and saw angel and a couple of the others leaning against the side of a car. At first I thought that it was Cordelia, but she was moving a lot and the reflection wasn't. Then, after looking at it and taking a screenshot, I realized that it was Angel.
Vampires dont have reflections?
I'll post up the link to it as soon as I get 15 posts up on buffy boards. ^_^
Have you seen any vampire reflections or bite marks suddenly healed?
Well, this is the place to post em! ^_^
Please either post a link to the picture or say the episdoe, or something along those lines.
As for mine, it was Angel, season 2 episode 3. ^_^ Around 11 minutes.

I guess we all know the Angel opening credits, right? There's the scene (originally from the first Angel ep, I think) at the end of it where Angel walks away in an alley and there's a giant puddle of water which reflects him beautifully.

There's a split second in "What's My Line" (part 1, if I'm not mistaken) where Angel walks through Buffy's room and you can see his reflection in her bedroom mirror. (You know, the one they wisely plastered with photos, postcards and such to cover for something like this happening... but it still leaves enough reflective space to see Angel move in it, if you look closely. 🙂 Easy enough to miss not to be a serious blooper, but it's there if you know where to look.)

Here it is, as if by magic 😛

As far as messing up goes, it's pretty bad. I also think there's a scene in the Buffy season 1 episode 'Angel' where you can see his reflection in the mirror in Buffy's room, not sure though 😛

In "City of" (Angel S1Ep1) when the Russel Winters (vamp) gets thrown out of the window, you can see his reflection in the building in some shots.

In 'Him' when Spike and Xander are about to run after RJ to get the jacket, you can see Spike's reflection in a shop window.

And in 'Older and Far Away', when Spike is about to leave for the first time, he goes past the hall-stand mirror and reflects.

Many of the older camera's used for filming used mirrors to put the image onto the film, so really, you shouldn't be able to see a vampire, ever. I hope they didn't use those camera's, because, and to add a resemblance of a quote, 'that would be wrong'.

Unfortunately, we've seen many instances of old pictures of the Fanged Four, which would have involved mirrors. Did degeurrotypes use mirrors? Because they show a degeurrotype of Druscilla in Lie to Me. There's also a septia-toned picture of Darla in early AtS season 2, but I can't remember the episode.

The first types of still camera's 'captured' the image straight onto the film (or plate as it was called), the shutter being hand operated.
Awesome, thank you, everyone! That Angel mistake was pretty bad.
I showd it to my dad and he laughed quite a lot.
If vampires cant be reflected, then how are they filmed and how are photographs taken of them?

In one of the commentaries, Joss says he explains it with Cordelia's line in "Are you now or have you ever been?".

Cordelia: It's not that vampires don't photograph, they just don't photograph well.

I think that's the closest we ever get to an explanation in the Jossverse, but I may be wrong. 🙂
