I've been on a bit of a Vampire fix lately after getting into Buffy and Angel and was wondering if you fine people knew of any good Vampire Slayer movies hidden out there? (not just Vampire but Vampire Slayer movies)

Here's my list so far:

John Carpenter's Vampires (The opening scene where they take out a nest of vampires with a crossbow and a Winch was badass)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)
Blade
The Lost Boys

Any others?

The new movie Priest is supposed to be about some sort of vampire slayer. I'll watch it out when it comes out on DVD. And I guess you could put Van Helsing into the category, although he kills more than vampires.

Priest was terrible though, don't your waste your time on it
They're making a movie called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I don't know what it's about, but the title itself sounds very much like an US president who slays vampires 😀

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1611224/

It's based on a book, and Alan Tudyk (Wash, Alpha) is going to be in it. He won't be playing Lincoln though, but Stephen Douglas, the man who ran against him for President.

Priest sounds interesting. I generally haven't been let down by Paul Bettany's work so I'm hopeful that can deliver.

Haha Abe Lincoln as a vampire hunter. Sounds like pure awesome Shlock. I'll keep an ear out for that one.

To my knowledge its mostly zombies and Mutants in the Resident Evil Movies.

Night watch eh? I had no idea that was about Vampires, I always thought it was about a battle between the forces of Heaven and Hell. I'll have to check that one out.

"The Fearless Vampire Killers" is an old British classic, definitely watch that one if you can.

Karma for this one too. I love this movie so much, Polanski rocks.

That's a great movie!
Stakeland

Daybreakers- it was about vampires, not really vampire hunters, but I thought it was pretty good.
You might like the anime "Vampire Hunter D" I know I do.\
UltraViolet was one, although it's not really awarded for being great, it's more of guilty pleasure.
Blood: The Last Vampire.

Lesbian Vampire Killers is a good one, very funny, no sex scenes just lots of fun. Quite a lot of swearing, more than the crappy film The Blair Witch Project. (if you meet anyone who says it really happened, read the films disclaimer to them.)
There is a few films that have vampires out to get other vampires, a couple are:
RISE. Starring Lucy Liu. Fairly well acted with loads of name actors
SUCK. Starring Alice Cooper, Malcom McDowell, Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins. Despite what the name implies this is not a porn film. A crappy touring rock band come face to face with vampires. A good film with rock music.
And if you are really desperate, watch the film Vampires, starring Kevin Dillon, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Lance Henriksen.

You liked Lesbian Vampire Killers, really? I hated that movie, I thought it was awful haha:D
From Dusk Till Dawn and Tales From The Crypt: Bordello of Blood were fun vampire slayer movies, the former more than the latter. I would still like to see The Lost Boys, and I'm also curious to see the original Fright Night (the upcoming remake looks interesting).

Oooo Fright Night was so darn good!
Forgot about it until I got the DVD out to watch last night but "Brides of Dracula", one of the Hammer Horror series, has Van Helsing returning to Transylvania in the aftermath of the original Dracula film to hunt down and destroy his dark disciples and Brides.

Thanks guys. I'm building up a nice playlist here. It should keep me occupied for a while.

As already mentioned, From Dusk Till Dawn.
I watched it yesterday again and it's really, really cool!
