I am a major fan of both shows and buffy is my favourite so this may sound a stupid question: How exactly do vampires make sure they sire a victim instead of killing them? Its just that i dont ever remember it mentioned (i never saw season 1 so maybe it was in there? But i have seen all the rest of the seasons!) 😕

drink the blood til you feel the heart slowing then let them feed from you.darla explains it in "the trial" (s2) to the metallica fan vampire.
 
Thanx 🙂 But how do the vampires get them to feed off them? I actually watched Graduation Part 2 today and i kinda got it from there ( that is such a sad episode! ::crying2: )!
 
its like an instict thing.hows a mother get a baby to feed from her

I know it sounded stupid coz i know SO much about the show and not about something so obvious and simple! Lol 😀 Im good with the complicated stuff, thats so totally me!
 
Thats an intellectual question, not a stupid one! I would go into more detail apart from the fact that everything has been said that is needed to be!

Another stupid question why when sired do some people become Vamps instently(Angel,the bad girl from the ep school hard) and some die and get buried first.(Thressa from Phases and numerous others were Buffy had to go and wait at their grave)
 
It does actually, Michael, but most people dont get buried right away so they would rise in the wee place you are kept before your funeral, but most come in the graveyard - thats why she patrols there! I do remember, when she went to look at her mums dead body in the hospital, a vamp rose on a table so . . .?!
Buffys normally got excellent/THE best writing so i dunno . . . ?!

Yup, vamps can only be raised at night.... its like a tradition or something, Drusilla likes to bury her sires in dirt and make them rise under the stars!

There are still unanswered questions though . . . like the whole some rise instantly, some later, even if it is all at night ???

I think its all to do with the timing of when they are sired, like say 12:00am they all rise then, any vamp sired after then rise instantly or something! I'll have a look around!
 
I have not managed to find anything yet, but i am still looking!!🙂
