Wow, had no idea there was so much Dru hate! I love her, she's so quirky (subtext MENTAL).

I can't think of any vamps that weren't staked that I'd want to be staked (lol what a mouthful!)

Don't get me wrong, i like him. Still, i kept hoping for him to get staked in the end.

The Bad Hair Dude. If he'd had got staked in episode 7 of season 1 (the one named like him, so I refuse to say its title 😛) we'd have been spared one hell of a lot of trouble.

Or if Joss had at least not sold out by bringing him back from Acathla-Land. Meh.

At points Angel and Spike for sure. If we go with "be dead and stay dead" since both have died and come back. Mostly Spike for me. One reason is that I love Angel the show way too much to have missed out on that which had been problematic if he didn't come back. Totally ignoring the feelings of the dude above.

Ben and I go way back. We can disagree but still like each other.

Another is that when we come into the story Angel is already "good" which makes it easier to understand the will to save and not kill him when he becomes evil again. Spike should have been killed long before he became "good".

Dru should have been killed, as Angel and Spike, but I'm not sure I'd want it. For me she goes from annoying, great and repeat... Harmony were annoying for most part but I didn't want her dead until the end of the last season. Season 8 Harmony I could be without.

I can't help but think of the "what if" regarding "Faith The Dark Slayer". Especially as Tru Calling got (unjustly!) cancelled so quickly, anyway, so she would have been available as a main star for a Buffy spinoff after all. Could've made a fine show, too, with Wesley kept in the main cast as a source of tension between him and Faith at the drop of a hat... and one I wouldn't be hesitating about spending the cash on the DVDs for as much as I still am with AtS. Much as I love Fred and Lorne, but I just can't stand the Bad Hair Dude anymore after S8.
