[Variety] 'Angel' won't see a sixth season

It so sucks that they always cancel the good shows!! The website that Spikesgurl235 gave has lots of good info for campaigning. Let's spread the word to the other forum too. The more people that know..... They never listen to the fans..... ::nono1:: ::light:: :: dracula
 
I *really* mad at the WB right now! It just plain sucks. Did they cancel "Dawson's Creek," too or did the show end by itself? I'm just going to sign as many petitions as I can, so please continue giving out links.
 
I'm so angry right now. I've signed four petitions and I can only hope that either the WB will change their minds or UPN will pick it up. I need my Angel fix!
 
I'm not at my computer tonight, but tomorrow I'll make a bunch of save Angel desktops wallpapers for everyone. I'll put a catchy slogan on each one, and the addy to some website with all the information that people need for mailing all the necessary parties. Together we can give Joss, and the rest of the great crew at Mutant Enemy a chance to end the best show on television on their own terms. I think it's do-able. It would likely be a lost cause to persue the WB, but we should try the other networks. I still like the pitchfork idea though.
 
I will support any Save Angel Website their is 100%, so if you get any word on one, please post it here!


Does anyone think UPN would pick up Angel ? I mean, how long can they have that top model trash on? I don't want to make it look like UPN just picks up WB's canceled shows, but I just want lots and lots more ANGEL.!
 
wow, i guess i'm a little late on reading this. This is terrible!! How can they cancell it!!!!! ahhh, if they cancel anything it should be 7th heaven the show has been on forever and its really bad now.
Is there any hope for the show at all? Is it possible that they will change their minds or is that out of the quesiton?

The chances of them changing their minds are slim to none, I'm hoping there's a chance UPN will pick it up......and I know i'll support the show until the end, even if that happens to be this season......
 
If another network picks up Angel, it will be a good move on there behalf, they will be the most loved network around!

Unfortunately, emailing networks or posting in online petitions is a waste
of time. As soon as they start getting emails, they set up spam filters to
delete the mail and they don't ever see what comes in. Waiting around for
somebody to organize something is wasting precious time--organized campaigns
are going to be great but here's something you can do NOW.

If you want to actually do something that actually might--MIGHT--help to
get another season for Angel...

DO THIS TOMORROW

1. Go and buy some postcards that show scenes from your city. Tourist
postcards. Postcards that have the name of your town or city or area of the
country on them. You don't need anything fancy, just something that will
show immediately where you are located so they know this is coming from all
over.

2. Write a short message on the postcard in your own words saying that you
want Angel to be renewed and support the show. Keep it positive. Don't be
insulting. Don't be abusive.

3. Address the postcard to one of the people on the list of addresses in
this message. Levin may ignore the cards coming into the WB, but the media
outlets will see there's a story in this and publicize it. The names on the
list are in order of importance so start at the top and send as many
postcards as you want to (or can afford to send).

4. Go and get at least six friends who probably aren't reading this on the
internet but would be willing to send postcards, and get them to do the same
thing.

5. DO IT TOMORROW! Speed of response is what counts along with the size of
the response. Don't wait for instructions from some group. Just DO IT.

I am going to have to wait to buy them. Money issues with my parents. I still have to find our stamps for I can send out my letters to the cast of Angel and Joss.
