I don't do comics, so I knew NOTHING about the character...until this morning. The film will be released in October and I will definitely see it! Tom Hardy did the voices for his character, Brock, and also for Venom. Looks pretty bad ass, judging from the trailer. Definitely my kind of film!!!!

 
Venom the character is great. It's just that Sony cannot seem to get anything right when it comes to Spider-Man (or anything else lately, really). They screwed up so badly that they had to cut a deal with Marvel. Spider-Man is a license to print money and Sony couldn't even get that right.
 
The trailer looks promising. I don’t much about Venom (never read the Spiderman comics), but thought he was great in the cartoons Spiderman: TAS and Spectacular Spiderman. He was wasted in the Spiderman 3 film.
 
My dad used to have one of the original Spiderman Venom comics as a kid. Guess it would've been worth some money, if he still had it. 😳
