I absolutely love how in high school, you actually only get to take one elective out of the four you pick.

go in with the subconsious feeling that it doesn't matter if you get the job, makes you more yourself. Always worked for me :)
I love the Edinburgh Festival, there is lots to do and the atmosphere is amazing...the downside is the tourists. They are everywhere, even at 8.30 in the morning, I can hardly go out and get my lunch and at home time I have to actually fight my way to the train station. It gets alarming the amount of people on the streets.

Of course the space is cut in half thanks to the stupid tram works so there is very little space and the crowds tend to scare me a little. I'm not very big and people like think it is perfectly acceptable to push me about.....oh what a silly mistake!

I got to see a bit of festival action last Saturday and have no problems seeing your point. The tram works surprised me, though. Brilliant addition to a fab city.
I've been trying to run and hike outside more this summer, since I wanna get all fit and toned and such. Unfortunately, my fitness regime completely backfired, as all I've gotten out of it is a really painful heat rash that's covering my back and neck and making me feel like a leper or something.

Lesson learned: Exercise bad. Sitting inside in the nice, cool air conditioning good.

Similar story: I put together some Sauder furniture (the kind you buy from Target, Wal-Mart, Office Max, etc and have to assemble yoursel) and, after hours of screwing screws into pre-drilled holes, and hammering little tiny nails--which meant hitting my fingers a lot--I got the stuff together. Then dragged across the house and put in place.

It was kind of like exercise, in that I had to bend around a lot and use my hands for the screw-driver-ing, and the hammering, and the lifting furniture pieces.

Well, I've been sore ever since. I'm not big at all, I'm 6ft 135lbs or so, but I'm really not into exercising, not even driving screws into pre-drilled holes. Ugh.

I agree: exercise bad.

I seem to be having the worst luck this week, nothing is going as planned for me. Need to go into Uni today to get a certified letter showing my course end date and quit my term time joba nd get a P45. Hopefully i can get everything sorted that needs doing before i go on holiday at the end of the month.

You know, as much as I enjoy not being at work, when you're trying to make a living and not getting any hours, it gets kind of stressful. I'm supposed to work at 12 tomorrow. Wonder how long I'll be there. 2 hours? Maybe 3? Enough to leave me time to look for a better job?

you're back! :D
Rubbish nights sleep, took me ages to get to sleep then I kept waking up.

Im really starting to feel like everything is always my fault lately. I can't do anything without being critisized or people not taking a full interest. I always give them my best interest in what they want but I never get it back. I feel like my ideas are stupid and its clear people are totally uninterested so I don't bother. Then when I try to do something for myself it all comes back round again and Im getting tired of it, its putting pressure on me to think of other ways around it and I hate pressure!

My mum told me recently, as in yesterday, that we're going to be moving house at the end of the month! I don't want to move houses! I LOVE where I am right now, my best friend lives across the street and it's the only time we get to see each other because she spends all her time at school with her boyfriend! *cries* It also means that when I get overwhelmed and need to leave the house I no longer have a place I can immediately go to. Bad things happen when I have to bottle up my emotions!

The only way your move is okay is if you're moving across the road from me. Otherwise *hugs*

I've always felt a close bond with one my online friends, because I don't have too many friends in real life, and she doesn't live too far away and I know she's there for me. But recently we've been arguing over the most stupidest of things and rather than try and talk it through with me, she just asks her other friends what to do, whether she should still talk to me or not. Everytime I try and sort things out and apologise, she goes on how she's sick and tired of being friends with me and all that. She goes balastic and I always have to claim it's my fault, even though it rarely ever is; I'm not going to say it never is, because I do have my moments were she just does my head in. I made on half-hand remark when I was really, really upset of something along the lines of 'Online friends don't really count, they can't be there for you when you're upset, I don't really have anyone right now.' And she really thought that was a dig. She's acting really funny with me, and everytime I try and lighten the mood, she seems to think I'm cracking jokes at her expense. I really am getting frustrated with the whole thing.
