At work: a lady asked one of my coworkers where the batteries are; coworker said "Nate go show the lady the batteries"; I go show her the batteries then we come back to the register where a coworker is now ringing out a different customer. When battery lady gets to to the counter, she says she has a prescription as well as some other Over-the-Counter things and I ask if she wants me to ring up everything together (a lot of people don't because they have Flex cards, and they like to keep their drug purchases separate from other purchases). She says in a really righteous, mean tone, "Yes, that's what I told you at first, so I wouldn't have to wait in line again". Which is stupid because since she wanted a battery, she had to get out of line and anyway she only had to wait another 20 seconds. Agh! I hate rude customers.
And it was made even worse because 20 minutes before, an old friend of mine came into the store, someone I hadn't seen for like 2 years. We talked for a few minutes and afterward I was in a really good mood.
