Got a new laptop today, but I hate all the unnecessary software you get with it! Takes so long to sort it out to how I like it.

I'm literally disgusted at Ronan Keating's cover of Both Sides Now. How can you take such a beautifully sad song and sing it all.....peppy?!? I don't think I've ever heard a cover so bad. This has actually upset me now....

I'm pissed off, I have been since about 6pm this evening and I have no idea why...which is even more annoying.

I hate that I'm a poker. I poke and poke and poke just to piss people off. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love starting stuff and I love making people angry for no reason because...it's hilarious! I love starting stuff between friends and watching them fight over stuff because it's so funny! And 99% of the time I get away with it. Well when I don't and people catch me, I obviously own up to it CUZZ I'M REAL YO. But it's just annoying that I do it in the first place I guess. Maybe I'll just find a new set of people to mess with, god knows I've done that plenty of times. So annoying. Somedays there's things that I love about myself and the next day it's the thing I hate the most.

I forgot to mention how I don't know how to be nice to people and I'm always on defensive mode, always insulting people. The second someone walks by the first thing I do is try to figure out all the things that are wrong with them and make fun of them. So when someone IS nice to me...I don't know what to say...so I end up doing something rude and making them hate me! W0000TT!

Rather angry and upset over insensitive thread about Gay Marriage. I am sure it was supposed to be a joke but I find no humor in it at all. (Right now I am holding back on the words, trying to be good)

It really ticks me off that people are so damn prejudice about this subject. This is something that I am dealing with in our extended family because one of my sons have so quote "come out of the closet". Our family (my in laws) suspected that he followed an "alternate lifestyle" and as long as there wasnt a confirmation of it, they were tolerant. Now that he has opened up about it, they are very judgemental and praying for his "mortal soul". He is in their words... "lost, reaching out for help and on his way to being an abomination". MY ANSWER IS B*LLS**T!!
He is the same child that he was last month, last year. This is my child that they are judging and it is p*ssing me off. I have no problem with his sexuality, we have talked in length about it. He knows that we (his dad and I) just want him to be safe and happy.
Each of my inlaws have no reason or right to throw stones, as he who is without sin may cast the first stone. They all have sin.

Just mad as hell right now!

Edmund Blackadder agrees: In the thread creators defence, I don't think he was being malicious, in fact I think he was

being jovial while suggesting that the people like your in laws are the ones that are being ignorant.

Maybe they are, but my view is that the jokes actually undermine the whole process.

I feel bad about your situation though Slayers Destiny, not becaue I think there is anything wrong with being gay, you know me well enough to know that, but because its hard when people who should love someone unconditionally find it hard to do so.

I'm watching American Idol the Motown part 2 episode.

First of all - venting about watching that!
Why the feck am I watching American Idol!!


Secondly, the contestants are singing a medley of Motown super classics BUT its fricking obvious that none of them are singing live.

Why on a talent show about singing are the contestants NOT singing live?

This has got to be the lowest possible that this show can go!

Hey, I saw that episode a couple days ago! I thought they were live, they're supposed to be, they weren't live? ???

A couple of them I thought did okay, but since quite a few performances were pitchy I assumed that it wasn't pre-recorded. Oh, I dearly hope not, that would ruin what faith I have in the show 🙁 I'll have to watch it again, look out for that...

(and MAN you can get AI where you are? Why can't I get UK shows then? Hmmm, it's a conspiracy I tell you!) 😉

And so that this is a venty post, I had people AGAIN order 6 darned pounds of SHAVED meat that they came to pick up in 5 minutes. FIVE!! How fast do these people think I can slice meat, and I know that we've been slow lately but I do still have customers to contend with. And then they get crabby because of our prices (it's a local restaurant that's ordering this, they charge like 10 bucks for a piece of pie!). If they don't like our prices, buy your meat somewhere else like NORMAL restaurants, or complain to someone who decides on the markup! Third time this week they've done it, I think I may have to smack them over the head with a salmon next time 🙂

I was attacked by a customer today. I manage a local Walgreens, and we had a customer who was picking up his pain medication today make a threat to overdose after he purchased his meds. The technician from the pharmacy called for management assistance, and because we are technically a health care provider...we cannot let the customer or "patient" leave without seeking help. I quietly told the tech to call the police, and contact his doctor and managed to keep him talking long enough until the cops arrived. I had already gotten him to give me the prescription he had just purchased, and he was confiding in me. He talked about how he had already OD'ed 3 times and how he had just taken 5 of his "happy pills" before he arrived at the store today. As soon as he saw the cops round the corner he lunged at me and started swinging. He only made contact once, he hit me in the face. The cops managed to restrain him before he got too carried away. So now I'm bruised, I've got a pending court case, and a restraining order, AND I hate my job. My hands are still shaking and this happened at 2pm today. I understand the man was probably clinically depressed but dammit.

I woke up today with a stinking hangover, my ribs are killing me, i hurt them yesterday but they're worse today, there's tipex all over my living room floor, my jeans are wrecked(although they look kinda cool) and i have a text from a friend saying i owe damages to the pub for for spilling tipex over the bar(i think/hope he's joking though) Today is crap already. The good news is, the writing on my jeans is upside down so i must have kept them on while i was defacing them. Also, Scotland got beat yesterday. I'll probably find more to complain about later.
