Ack, now my birthday thingy is really worrying me...I'm getting so paranoid that no-one on my course even likes me. I don't ever seem to just fit anywhere, I'm always on the outside. I want people to come along...I want the people from my course to come along, celebrate with me, be my friends, even just for a night. However, i can't even reach any of them - I'm sure I'm just being paranoid, but I feel like they're ignoring me, or shutting me out. Because that's what always happens to me.
And this is why I want to join the Royal Navy so much - I feel like I could fit there, that I could find a way out of this miserable area, and all it's horrible people, and go and do something I want. But my eyesight is probably going to stop me, and there's not a thing that can be done about it.
Oh, and I turn 17 tomorrow. And I'm not even excited about it. Why not? Because, as far as I can tell, I have very few friends, a most likely unattainable career goal, and have never had a boyfriend, or even a chance at it. No-one's ever asked me, ever kissed me, ever even came on to me whilst drunk. 17 years old...that's just ridiculous, why doesn't anyone ever even look at me?
Don't take this wrong, but you seem like a negative person and most people aren't attracted to negativity - be it physical attraction or friendly attraction.
Seems to me you shouldn't be worried if you have any friends and why you aren't attracting people, you should be more accepting of yourself.
You need to appreciate yourself before anyone else can.
Running away won't help.
