I´m glad to see that you use your logic in your venting. 😉

If I really wanted to, I guess I can think about stuff in almost every ship that bugs me one way or another. But it´s not like any ship is perfect. I chose to concentrate on the positive. Even if I´m not a Bangel (kind of impossible with me being a Cangel) but that don´t mean that I can´t see the good things in it. But since this is a venting thread I guess I shouldn´t start mentioning them. 😉

Or rather, not stop believing that it's real, but stop believing that people will work hard enough to make their true love happen the way they want it and with whom they want it because even though they have all this awesome past history and they're terribly well suited, a couple of major mistakes make both of them want to stop looking past the bad things and into all the really great stuff they have together, like how they make each other laugh and how they're as loyal as the day is long, how their relationship has progressed past physical love and into a healthy dependency and trust that they have in one another, plus not to mention how darn cute they look together.... pant, pant...

Okay, I feel much better. I know in hindsight we can look back and say "Well, Anya died anyway, so how much would it suck if they had actually gotten hitched??" To that I say, you never know when your last day will be and neither did they. Could've been epic, man, naw, it was epic. :band:

I can't really put my finger on what exactly it was about that relationship that bothers me. It seems like it's based more on sex and tongue-rings than love and emotions. And hey I'm not one to bash sex...or tongue rings, but it all just didn't seem to fit Willows character.

I'm not going to go with obvious here, we all know where I stand with ships😉

I have to second Killow...just down right awful. I struggle to understand how Willow could connect to such a spoilt brat like Kennedy. I don't get what she saw in her at all. As far as I am concerned Kennedy is devoid of any redeemable qualities. The mind boggles.

Connor/Cordy...can I get a gyaaahhh! The thoughts of it make my skin crawl...world of no!!!

I know people love this ship but I really wasn't a fan of Wesley and Fred, I loved her with Gunn and it seemed to me that the only reason they broke Gunn and Fred up was to make way for Wesley. Up until Gunn kills the professor they were the perfect couple. Add to the fact that Fred looked at Gunn differently after that made no sense at all, it just seemed forced.

Once again this is a popular ship but I don't necessarily adore it, Xanya. I love Xander, I love Anya, together not so much. I always thought Xander and Cordy were more interesting.

There is nothing I really "hate" about any of the relationships in angel and buffy.
But I didn't really like Riley at all he annoyed me so much I don't know why, maybe
that's why I don't like Buffy and Riley ship that much. I also didn't like Connor and Cordelia,
it kind of grossed me out. :|

Biley (or Ruffy, for my good friend Captain Scobroard) is just wrong on so many different levels. Mostly because Riley just... sucks? 😛 All that love, not love, you don't care, I don't care craziness, and the whole "I want to let vampires feed off of me" nonsense... At it's best it was a waste of time, at it's not-quite-worst it was unhealthy, and at it's worst... yups.

Also, Killow. Words fail me here. I do not understand what Willow was thinking. I do not understand what Willow saw in Kennedy. It makes absolutely no sense to me. I've tried looking at things from Willow's point of view and I'm getting nothing.

Cangel. Mostly because Cordy was in Buffy and Cordy and Angel together is wrong, and it betrays Bangel (in my most humble, Bangelly opinion), and no matter what Cordy does, there is some part of her that will always remain the mirror that the Slayer bounced off of. 😛

Connor/Cordy. This is so wrong. On the level of, I'm doing it with my dad's almost-girlfriend wrong. Oh wait, that's what it was.

Nangel. I know my husband is big into this, but Werewolf/Vampire? Maybe it's just because Nina gets on my nerves, but, I can't stand this. Of course, if anyone other than Buffy were to get together with Angel, in my book it would either be Gwen (a reformed Gwen, in a way) or POSSIBLY Fred. But I'm not sure. Agh, Fred, why do you tear me up like this? (I loved Fred/Gunn, but Fresley so much more, alas...)

I hhhaaaate to say it but Xanya as well. I just found the whole relationship so... awkward at first. and yes i do think they loved each other in the end but then it fell apart anyway. id rather Xander with Willow or even Buffy!

If they had spent a little more time in the dock and run some tighter safety measures we wouldn't have that stupid Leonardo Dicaprio/Kate Winslett few hour snorefest that I had to sit through 3 times because my then girlfriend 'loved it'.

You can argue if whether Spuffy is true love or not but I think it's pretty clear that Spike gave her so much strength with his love and understanding. In my opinion it was a really immature relationship in season 6 but in season 7 the total opposite. They were friends... They knew each other and trusted each other and I'd say that was pretty mature.

Of course you can have your own opinion and everything. But you asked and I just tried to explain why we Spuffy-shippers think so.

My post above was more borne out of being tired of people claiming to hate Bangel on the grounds of how immature it was (when if examined closely it actually wasn't) and the immaturity and recklessness of Spuffy forever overlooked.

I agree about season 7 so though. I have always maintained that Spike was Buffy's best friend in season 7.
